«Esta fue mi segunda estancia en este hotel. Aunque la ubicación es un poco alejada, no hay problema si vas en coche. Las habitaciones son estupendas; todas tienen vistas al mar, lo cual es una gran ventaja. Sugiero que el hotel añada algunas instalaciones a la zona de la piscina, porque el sol es demasiado fuerte y resulta muy incómodo. Además, hay muy pocas instalaciones para niños. Esta vez, la selección del desayuno me pareció limitada y el sabor había empeorado bastante 😢. Los niños tenían muchas ganas de desayunar, pero se llevaron una decepción.»

«I did a lot of research before deciding on Hotel Sentral Seaview by the Beach. Most reviews weren’t favorable however I was willing to take a risk considering my last hotel was horrible. Overall, I was surprised and it has exceeded my expectations. Having said that my expectations were pretty low! Positives: - Rooms were clean. The hardware of the hotel has undergone some major wear and tear. However, the hotel and room has undergone a fresh coat of paint. There is a faint smell of paint, but that for me wasn’t a negative. - Initially in my room was facing the hotel next-door. On the same level I could see the security guards and the neighbor hotel walk back-and-forth. As a female guest, this made me feel super uncomfortable. I went downstairs and requested a room change. The response from the front desk was “Just close your curtains.” In the end I was changed to another room on the other side of the hotel facing the ocean. - The view! Wow. Seeing and hearing the waves from the beach.. all the stress falls away! Because I was given this room, I made the decision to rebook another 2 nights at the hotel! - Wi-Fi was strong. - Hardly anyone using the pool, which made it really peaceful and quiet. Water is cool and clean. On the first day I was there the hotel were doing maintenance and cleaning of the pool area. - The beach is quiet (not many people) - and quite clean. - Right in front of the hotel, few footsteps away is a huge food court with lots of variety of food. It’s fantastic. 10 min walk is Lotus Mall. - There is a bus stop outside. Take 101 to go to Batu Ferringhi Beach. - 200 m from the hotel is the Oceano Symphony cafe. Good food and drinks. - Breakfast - was basic but ok. - Staff are friendly and helpful! Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives. I can understand that this hotel may not be the standard of a lot of international guests. But for peace, little crowds and sounds of the waves, in a quiet spot on the Penang island it’s been great.»

«Ventajas: Impresionantes vistas al mar y una playa muy tranquila. Hermosas vistas a la montaña justo afuera de la habitación. Dormir con la brisa marina y el sonido de las olas fue sumamente relajante; uno de los mejores sueños que he tenido últimamente. El ventilador de techo mantuvo la habitación fresca y hay aire acondicionado disponible si es necesario. Desventajas: La ubicación es un poco incómoda. Había moho en el techo del baño. El cepillo de dientes no fue proporcionado como se prometió y los artículos de aseo no eran muy buenos.»

«I had a wonderful stay at La Ferringhi Villa by ALV. As a solo traveller, I felt very comfortable, safe, and well taken care of from the moment I arrived. The villa was exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained. Everything felt fresh and organised, which made it easy to relax and fully enjoy my stay. The location is perfect,peaceful yet convenient, with easy access to the beach and nearby restaurants. The amenities were great and thoughtfully prepared. I truly appreciated the comfort and attention to detail throughout the property. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality stay in Penang. I would happily return again.»

«¡Buena ubicación! No es temporada alta, pero aun así está lleno de viajeros con familias jóvenes, como se puede ver en las piscinas y el restaurante de desayuno. La habitación es bastante amplia y cuenta con todas las comodidades básicas. La limpieza del baño necesita mejorarse. Por lo demás, en general está bien y es recomendable para vacaciones.»

«Hotel recién inaugurado (2025) en la zona de Tanjung Bungah. El hotel de enfrente cuenta con restaurante y tienda de conveniencia. Hay una playa en la parte trasera del hotel, accesible desde la zona de la piscina (se requiere ascensor hasta el primer piso). Habitación limpia y agradable durante nuestra estancia de dos noches.»

«Stayed at Mercure Penang for a short weekend getaway. Overall, the stay was generally pleasant. The location was nice and not too far from everything. The beach area was definitely one of the best parts with private access, well maintained, and clean, which made the stay feel more relaxed. Breakfast was okay, but during high season, the dining area felt a little too cramped and crowded. However, the housekeeping incident really left a bad impression. At around 11:40 a.m., the cleaner came into the room unannounced and asked when we were checking out. It honestly caught us by surprise and felt quite uncomfortable. He came again at around 12:15 p.m. to ask the same thing, and we eventually left at 12:30 p.m. Guests should not feel rushed or disturbed before check-out time, especially by staff entering the room without proper notice. That part was really irritating and unfortunately affected the overall experience.»

«Fue la primera vez que me hospedé en este excelente hotel. Me sentí muy feliz, me sentí muy bien y maravilloso durante mi estadía de dos días en este hotel. La habitación estaba muy ordenada, limpia y perfecta. Tenía pensado quedarme un día más. Lamentablemente, tengo que regresar a casa. Definitivamente reservaré este hotel cuando visite Penang nuevamente.»
