Hotel is an ideal base for visits to West Cork. Staff are extremely helpful and very good. The food is very good and dining area and bar are comfortable. Our room was a little dated but everything you need was available. The room was very warm but radiator was off so just kept window open. However at 7am an extractor fan outside required window to be closed. The sorting of bottles commenced at 9am so that was the end of any sleep. Thankfully we got up to a really good breakfast once again served by super staff. Would definately return but look for a room in a different area of the hotel.

My partner and I stayed in the hotel for one night sadly wasn’t longer.It was my partners birthday and they made her feel so special and even gave us a complimentary dessert.The food was stunning and Staff were incredible.The lady on reception was excellent and dedicated .

Beautiful hotel on the beach. From the minute we arrived at reception the service we got from Tracey was excellent. The food was beautiful and we got excellent professional service from Juan Rosa in the cave restaurant/bar. He did the hotel, himself and his family proud with his friendly demeanour nothing was too much for him. Our room was spacious, warm, spotlessly clean with magnificent views of the sea and Ballycotton lighthouse. We are already looking forward to a return visit

We stayed for two nights Friday and Saturday 6&7th of December. The atmosphere upon arrival was something else as the Late Late Toy show was being televised that evening and the hotel had laid on a very festive feeling. Check in was straight forward and the Staff at the desk were in great form and made you feel very welcome from the off. Our room was a smasher and we had a beautiful Terrace which looked out on to the hotel grounds which are very well kept, however it was December in Ireland so we won't mention that. The room was well decorated, warm and had plenty of facilities for us to use, tea/coffee ,TV etc. We ate both nights in the hotel and the food was top notch and the staff were both efficient and friendly and the endless questions from the many children didn't seem to bother any of them. If you are coeliac fear not this hotel caters for you during every meal through out the day with excellent choices. This is a must try Hotel if staying in West Cork it has something for everyone, great leisure centre facilities and close to everything in Clon. If I had a negative to say it would only be directed at myself, I should have stayed another night.

The Maritime Hotel gets a top rating from me owing to a combination of factors. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I got a two hour extension on departure as I was attending a book launch. And this done quickly and pleasantly. Quite unusual these days. A real plus. The King room overlooking the water with a balcony was spacious and the bathroom spotless. We enjoyed the gym, pool, jacuzzi and steam. And later on had a nice couple of drinks with some music in the bar. And the rate was very competitive and there is free parking. Overall an excellent experience and I would certainly recommend the Maritime. Love to come back.

This hotel is very central to everything in Cobh, the views from the bedrooms facing the front of the hotel are spectacular, you can see Spike island & haulbowline . The rooms are very clean & the beds are comfortable. This hotel brings you back to the early 1900s , it has a very vintage / Victorian feel . Staff were very friendly & accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel.
