The Mantra Hotel has outstanding location. It is directly in front of the Woolworths supermarket - the best option in central Cairns. It's also virtually opposite (the esplanade side)the lagoon public beachfront swimming pool. Finally it's just a 5 minute walk from Cairns Cruise Terminal, with outstanding day trips to Green Island, Fitzroy Island and the Reef. I booked a sea view room. When you enter the room, you don't see the ocean, but a building across the road. However, the view from the balcony was amazing. The balcony overlooks the main features of lagoon on the sea front. During the day it is great view - the lagoon pools and sea in the background. At night you cannot see the sea (as to be expected) but you have the amazing lagoon lights, which makes it very desirable and even romantic. Our room was at the end of block, which overlooks a shopping mall (no car noise) - looking right from the balcony is the lagoon view and looking left is a mountain view. However, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm the sun comes directly into the balcony area, which means it unusable until sun sets. Of course if you don't mind baking in the sun on the balcony, this is not really a concern. The room itself is pretty basic. The mini fridge of OK and TV has domestic channels only - no cable TV for BBC/CNN. The bathroom is of a good size. There is combined shower & bath. However, when using the shower, it can slightly flood this bathroom. A shower curtain may be desirable because the glass panel is not sufficient enough. At $225 per night this hotel was not cheap and you can better deals by coming in the off-season OR going bit further down the esplanade, and choosing another hotel. The Mantra does have its own pool and it is wonderfully heated, with normal deck chairs you would expect at 4 star hotel. However, the pool gets very little natural sunlight, because it of its location between 2 buildings. Overall, the hotel has amazing location, and it is still recommended, despite the shortcomings mentioned. My final note: When we checked in, I was impressed with the level of service provided by the receptionist. She had a very welcome attitude and a wonderful personality.

El lugar está en la playa La playa de la caída del sol y es muy fácil caminar a la tienda de café y al supermercado en 10 minutos. Para comprar el día de Zi, necesitamos sentarse en la terraza para ver el sol y mirar con cuidado. En cuanto al servicio, el servicio básico excluye el check-in. Puede quedar bien como si fuera el hotel de la región de Asia-Pacífico, con un servicio de cinco estrellas En términos de precios, nada incluye a 1000 cabezas, y la verdad es que no hay opción.

The hotel is really good value for money. Beds are comfortable and as it is located in quiet area, that gives a chance to get a good quality sleep. Definitely better to have a car when staying in this hotel as it is a bit far from anywhere. Area itself is very ellgant though. Great service from reception team. We had a beautiful vue on the marina.

La isla de sueños de día no es grande, pero muy agradable. Muchas clases de barcos desde Hamilton hasta el día son convenientes ～! Nuestro último barco se envía a la isla de sueños de día y nos envía a todos un collar de pequeños tiburones. El personal es entusiasta y el desayuno es rica. Los canguros y las rocas de diamantes se ven en todas partes, hay pequeños peces de arena en el lago, 𫚉 peces...En general, se siente bien!!! Evitar las cosas: si quieres jugar o volar desde Hamilton, no te quedes en una isla larga, no te quedes en una isla larga, no te quedes en el puerto de Shute, y no hay mucha frecuencia. (El tiempo que pasó para preguntar, las rutas de transporte que necesitaban para llamar son muy molestas, porque no hay espacio en Hamilton y me temo que la isla está en ruta). Estamos en avión y aterrizamos en la isla de Hamilton. Reservamos una residencia de Long Island. Volvemos al día siguiente en helicóptero para ver el corazón. La primera clase de salida de Long Island fue enviar a la ciudad de Shute a las ocho horas. Si te quedas, tendrás que esperar hasta las cinco y media pm para llegar a Hamilton ～ Me Dios mío! En ese momento, realmente me envié a la evaluación del hotel que dijo que el autobús en el agua era muy conveniente 🐶🐶🐶 Podemos ser forzados a abandonar la estancia en Long Island y reservar una estancia en la isla de sueños de día. La última tabla de horarios fue tomada por mí en el crucero de la crucera de Hamilton Island, y todos pueden hacer referencia. Personalmente, siento que Long Island está aislada, no es como una empresa de turismo desarrollada por la misma, la tarifa de alojamiento no puede ser reembolsada ～ ¡Hasta que nos ha perdido la tarifa de alojamiento de Long Island 2 noches, y la tarifa de barco entre la isla y la isla no es barata, ¡todos deben considerar entrar al reservar un hotel! The location is perfect and centrally located in the heart of shopping centres, walking distance to the beach and night life. Great rooms on the 22nd floor. The beds are very comfortable, and the room is spacious for up to 3/4 people. The downside for us was that the staff at the reception told us that there wasn't a restaurant located in the hotel when we enquired while checking in, so we went out to look for something to eat after we checked in to the hotel, only to get back to find a brochure in our room advertising a Cafe conveniently located in the hotel for guests. I highly recommend that the staff need to be informed of any changes in the hotel so that they are able to provide accurate information about the hotel to the guests. The check-in and check-out process was great, made conveniently for guests and staff, there's no long cues at the reception👍🏾 We'll definitely be returning.

Este es un lugar fabuloso para quedarse. Elegimos una habitación tipo estudio, con vista al mar, y realmente valió la pena. Aunque llegamos tarde, contactamos al personal de llamadas en la puerta y nos hablaron sobre el proceso de registro. El servicio fue amable y atento en todo momento. El único pequeño inconveniente es que las habitaciones solo se limpian una vez cada 8 días. Sin embargo, cuando solicitamos toallas limpias, estuvieron felices de proporcionárselas. El complejo de la piscina es encantador, la piscina está un poco fría para el invierno, pero el spa era cómodo y disfrutamos mucho de la sauna. El desayuno estaba incluido y teníamos la opción de elegir entre tres cafés en el complejo, con comida deliciosa en los tres. ¡No podemos esperar a volver!

I had deluxe sea view double room.Very nice view.The best location,the shore broadwalk is just next to the hotel(can see at my balcony).I’ve read reviews saying it’s old,but actually it’s maintained in acceptable manner.Don’t expect luxurious 5stars design,it’s more like resort style hotel.The pool is big,with a small heated pool.Gym is small but sufficient,always empty.The rooms are clean, tidied up daily.Be careful the bathtub only has half glass covered up, no flooding would happen if being careful. Very nice room though. Helpful and nice front desk staff. Very good for value.

Apartment clean, just some rusty faucets. It was a nice to have some water put on the fridge but it really tasted like dishwashing… Annoying sound when we open the light in the bathroom. Really nice and spacious apartment, with more than I actually needed! Nice outdoor pool and jacuzzi. But the afternoon I arrived I wanted to lay down on the sunbeds but I wasn’t able to since the garden was being watered and the water goes so far that it goes into the pool and jacuzzi and made all the sunbeds soaked wet. I only got the chance to meet the receptionists/managers at my check out, since the opening hours are 9am-5pm and 9-12am on weekends. They were really nice. But I gotta say this is so weird for me to see a reception with such opening hours… Where I come from and in most countries I went to, this is 24/7 or close to it. There is not a real service, we have to find the room on our own(even if we get a map with our key in the safe box), I mean there was a binder with informations, we can send them texts but we have to wait to get an answer if any, I was always away before they opened and came back when they weren’t there anymore so I know it seems to be an Australian thing (and good for them!) but this lack of real human interaction is unfortunate. We receive ton of emails and I also think about the people who are not good at the technology stuff
