From start to finish Dom Carlos Park did not disappoint. Helpful staff took our bag up stairs on arrival. Storage was available until our room was ready, map was given when requested to help us find our bearings. Room clean with fridge with selection of minibar which could be purchased, safe was also available. Towels were large and fluffy. Bed comfortable, with lovely pillows, black out curtains to help sleep. Room service used first night with excellent food . Breakfast was excellent good range of food. It was occasional busy and we were asked to wait in the lounge area but again well looked after and as soon as space was available we were taken in to wait. Hotel is in a good location, a gentle walk down the avenue liberdade everyday to where the action is, such as Rossio Station where we caught the train to Sintra. Great hotel would stay again. Hostal con comodidades básicas. El desayuno es muy pobre y no conserva los productos desde el principio hasta el final del horario de desayuno (ejemplo: pan o fruta, 30/40 minutos antes del final del horario, se acaba, se acaba!!!) La ubicación es buena, en una zona tranquila, cerca del parque Eduardo VII, Avenida da Liberdade. ¡El ambiente es agradable, relajado!

¡El mejor hotel de mi viaje a España y Portugal! El personal fue increíblemente amable y me ayudó a gestionar el check-in anticipado. Mientras esperaba, me sugirieron ducharme en el gimnasio y luego relajarme en una tumbona junto a la piscina de la azotea. Pude llegar a mi habitación en aproximadamente una hora y media; eran solo las 10 de la mañana, cuando el check-in en Lisboa suele ser a las 3 de la tarde. Antes de ir a mi habitación, incluso me llevaron a nadar y me explicaron las instalaciones del hotel. El agua se puede rellenar. Además, si no solicitas la limpieza de tu habitación durante tu estancia, te dan un cupón de 5 dólares para usar en el bar del hotel. Me saludaban cada vez que pasaba por la entrada. La cama es enorme; cuatro personas pueden dormir cómodamente.

El personal de recepción y del restaurante fue muy amable y el desayuno bastante variado. Sin embargo, el desagüe del lavabo del baño era muy lento y nunca lo arreglaron. La ubicación está un poco lejos del casco antiguo, un viaje en Uber cuesta alrededor de 11 euros.

The place is beautiful, and the amenities were great. We really had a good time. But I have to be honest about a few things that were negative. We booked a room called the lovers room which was ~600 euros per night and the photos advertised were showing a room that was not the one we got. The room we got was still amazing, with many amenities, spaceous, great design, but it was not what was advertised. We even hired a photographer because it was our 1 year anniversary assuming we would get the room advertised which was two floors and had great views. We also called to mention that it was our anniversary the day before and the only thing they could offer was a wine bottle or a cake which is ok, but the service didn't make anything special about it. I think they have to be trained better for these things, because at the dinner, they sat us in a pretty bad table and we had to ask to be changed to a better one, but they should know this since I called in to tell them it was our anniversary. The dinner was also very slow. We sat for 1 hour with only bread. And the food was ok, not bad, not great, we paid 200 euros for an ok meal. And we had to wait hours because they were under staffed. One lady was serving near 10 tables. It was not a good experience. Finally, a boutique hotel that opens the sauna at 11am feels not well thought of. I think they have to figure out how to make the recovery amenities open from very early around 6/7am to very late around 10/11pm to accommodate for all guests. The final thing was that there was no butler and guests are expected to carry bags from the the parking to the lobby. I think they need to hire a butler at the entrance. Thats basically my feedback for this hotel given the price which is what you pay per night at the best 5 star hotels. Apart from that, again, the service was kind and helpful, the hotel design is beautiful and the location is insanely gorgeous. The rooms are also very well done.

Buen sitio, a 10-15 minutos de la princiaples atracciones en taxi. Hotel elegante. En habitación de tres la tercera cama supletoria era pequeña, chocaba un poco. Por lo demás todo bien.

I spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts: PROS: - Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport. - Nice decors and overall pretty clean. CONS: - The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room. - Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer.

Every aspect of our time was stellar at the palace! The extraordinary service began with Maria at the front desk and Luke helping us ladies get settled with all of our bags. Our rooms had views of the manicured gardens with mosaic walking paths. We opened our window for the cool breeze and was serenaded by a multitude of birdsong. Lunch was unique and flavorful at the Lake House. Dinner was in the bar lounge with the most decadent, flavorful brownie in the world! Morning breakfast in the parlor has so many delightful choices to fit the palates and dietary needs of any guest. Sarah provided a personal tour of the palace. She was full of historical facts and knowledge of the family dynasty. Sarah and other staff also excelled as a hosts and concierge. A shout out is deserved to all staff who worked tirelessly to make such a stay effortless by providing comfortable accomodations and pampers each guest.

Este hotel está muy bien ubicado cerca del aeropuerto. Puede tomar la línea roja del metro desde el aeropuerto y luego la línea amarilla o verde hasta la parada de metro más cercana al hotel, o bien tomar el autobús 783 desde/hacia el aeropuerto. El hotel es un hotel de 4 estrellas de lujo con camas cómodas y un desayuno excelente. Lo recomiendo para estancias en el aeropuerto o incluso para estancias más largas para visitar Lisboa, ya que está muy bien conectado con el transporte público.

Fabulous hotel in excellent city centre location. Rooms very comfortable and spacious. Shower excellent and lovely rituals showers gels. Very friendly and helpful staff, would definitely recommend .
