Estoy realmente sorprendida con la sorpresa de Lexis, un pedido pequeño pero una preparación realmente increíble por parte del hotel. Gracias a trip.com y a Lexis por brindarnos una estadía inolvidable. Este es nuestro primer viaje después de 4 años, coincidiendo con el cumpleaños de mi esposo. Definitivamente volveremos a visitarlo.

Stayed at Lone Pine Hotel recently and loved my ground‑floor sea‑facing room. Super clean, comfy, and literally steps from the beach though it is fenced up to demarcate the hotel's grounds. Parking was easy, and the whole area is convenient — hawker stalls, beach bars, and convenience stores all within a short walk. Breakfast buffet was solid too, with a nice mix of local and Western stuff. Great way to start the day. Only complaint? The 3rd party water sports guys clutter the beachfront with equipment, and an excavator on the sand ruins the sea view. There was also an excavator parked on the beach, doing who‑knows‑what, which disrupted the otherwise serene beachfront setting. Despite these external issues, Lone Pine itself delivers a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay. I would return — hopefully with a clearer sea view next time.

Esta fue mi segunda estancia en este hotel. Aunque la ubicación es un poco alejada, no hay problema si vas en coche. Las habitaciones son estupendas; todas tienen vistas al mar, lo cual es una gran ventaja. Sugiero que el hotel añada algunas instalaciones a la zona de la piscina, porque el sol es demasiado fuerte y resulta muy incómodo. Además, hay muy pocas instalaciones para niños. Esta vez, la selección del desayuno me pareció limitada y el sabor había empeorado bastante 😢. Los niños tenían muchas ganas de desayunar, pero se llevaron una decepción.

I just stayed for one night. Which was enough for me. Be aware this is not part of the official Rainbow Resort Hotel. Upon seeing my confirmation, the receptionist told me my room was an Airbnb. The building is a hotel as well private rooms that are rented out. The room itself was very spacious, 70 sqm with one bedroom and a living space. It had obviously been repainted recently (it smelt a fresh paint) so the walls were clean. Air conditioning and basic amenities were provided. The building itself, has seen a lot of wear and tear. If you’re on a budget and want a spacious room it will meet your needs. For the price I think it’s quite reasonable if you’re there for a short stay. The hotel is next to a beach, and a swimming pool downstairs. There a few restaurants across the road.

Disfrutamos muchísimo de nuestra estancia en Parkroyal. El servicio fue excepcional; nos recibieron con amabilidad y calidez desde el momento en que entramos y todo el personal fue amable y servicial. Las instalaciones son fantásticas y la ubicación, con la playa de Batu Ferringhi a la vuelta de la esquina, fue excelente. La habitación está bien equipada y muy limpia, y el desayuno es uno de los mejores buffets que he probado, con una abundante selección de comida y bebidas de excelente calidad.

Excelente hotel nuevo y estético, amplio (me alojé en una habitación familiar con dos camas queen), buena ubicación. Se pueden canjear dos bebidas en la cafetería del vestíbulo. La única pega es que hay que pagar el aparcamiento (10 RM al día) y validarlo antes de las 12 del mediodía.

Este es un hotel nuevo y limpio, convenientemente ubicado entre Batu Ferringhi y George Town. Llegué temprano, sobre las 11:30, pero amablemente nos permitieron registrarnos, lo cual agradecimos mucho. En Grab, se tarda unos 15 minutos en llegar a la playa de Batu Ferringhi y unos 20 minutos a George Town, aunque el tráfico puede ser bastante denso durante el día, por lo que el tiempo de viaje puede ser mayor. El sistema de inteligencia artificial no siempre respondió con fluidez, pero aun así pude usarlo para solicitar que me enviaran artículos a mi habitación. Me alojé en Nochevieja y el hotel organizó una fiesta de cuenta regresiva junto a la piscina. No hubo fuegos artificiales, pero el ambiente fue agradable. Tanto la piscina como la zona de la playa son muy bonitas, y el desayuno ofrece una buena variedad de comida. En general, es un buen hotel para alojarse. Sería aún mejor si ofrecieran un servicio de autobús de ida y vuelta a George Town y la playa de Batu Ferringhi.

Capri by Fraser Penang is a very new hotel. I understand it has only been operating for about two months. Since it’s new, the hotel is in excellent condition—everything is modern, very clean, and well maintained. The front desk staff and hotel team are also friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. 1. Automated car parking system The hotel does not have conventional parking on each floor. Instead, it uses an automated stacking parking system where you drive your car into a vehicle lift, and the system parks the car automatically. While this is an interesting concept, there are only two vehicle lifts. Every time you return to the hotel or want to leave, you need to wait for the lift to park or retrieve your car. This can be time-consuming, especially during busy periods. In addition, the entrance to the vehicle lift is quite narrow, making it less suitable for larger vehicles and requiring extra care when driving in. 2. Drinking water dispenser Each guest floor has a drinking water dispenser, which is a thoughtful feature. However, the dispenser is installed on a countertop without a sink or drainage. Any spilled water remains on the surface, making the area look untidy. Over time, this may become a maintenance issue and detract from the hotel’s otherwise modern appearance. 3. Soap and lotion dispensers The in-room soap, body wash, and lotion dispensers need some improvement. During my stay, they frequently jammed and did not dispense smoothly, making them inconvenient to use. 4. Sound insulation The soundproofing could also be better. My initial room was close to the lifts, and I could clearly hear guests walking by and using the lifts. After requesting a room farther away from the lift lobby, the noise issue was largely resolved. If possible, I would recommend requesting a room away from the lifts. Overall Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The hotel is new, clean, and the staff provide excellent service. Most of the issues I experienced are relatively minor and can likely be addressed as the hotel settles into its operations. With improvements to the parking process, water dispenser design, bathroom dispensers, and sound insulation, Capri by Fraser Penang would offer an even better guest experience.

I had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Butterworth. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well maintained. The room was spacious, comfortable, and offered a great view. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The breakfast had a wide variety of delicious choices, and the quality of the food was excellent. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and Penang via the ferry or bridge. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Crowne Plaza Butterworth to anyone visiting the area.
