«Check in was smooth, deposit required. Quite an old hotel showing it's age. Room was not cleaned well on 2nd day, could see floor wasn't swept. Basic amenities provided. Bidet spray was missing the head and the bracket was half broken. Mid water pressure & lukewarm temperature for shower. Fridge was cold. One of the few hotels that has smoking rooms. Restaurant staff was great. Breakfast was acceptable altho no live egg station. There's a gym with a nice view. Location was good. Not in town but not far by grab, lots of eateries and mini marts within 5 minutes walk. There's a 7-11 in the mall attached to the hotel. Other than that, not much in the mall.»

«This was my second time staying at New York Hotel. This time, I stayed in a Family Room. We originally had three people, and after added an extra bed. The price was still quite reasonable, and breakfast was included, which was a good value. The breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay. There were many choices, including local Malaysian favourites such as roti prata, nasi lemak, porridge, and more. I really enjoyed having so many different options. My favourite part of the hotel is definitely the indoor swimming pool. The hotel also has a gym and jacuzzi, which are great facilities for relaxing and enjoying some downtime. The Family Room was very spacious, and the view was beautiful. The location is also convenient, making it easy to get around and access nearby places. However, there are still some areas that need improvement. The shower mat was quite dirty, which was disappointing. Also, out of the three towels provided, two of them had a very strong unpleasant smell. I hope the hotel can pay more attention to the cleanliness and freshness of the towels and bathroom items. Another thing I found inconvenient was that there were only two charging sockets in the room, and one of them was located in the bathroom. For a family room, I think having more charging points would be much more convenient for guests. Overall, I still enjoyed my stay because of the spacious room, beautiful view, good breakfast, indoor swimming pool, gym and jacuzzi. However, I hope the hotel can improve the cleanliness of the bathroom items, the smell of the towels, and provide more convenient charging points.»

«One of the best hotel here in Johor Bahru. Highly recommended. The staffs are friendly and they really help you if you have any concerns. I love the view of the hotel outside and inside the room. The room is very big with bath tub and when you open up the curtains you can experience to view the city of Johod Bahru. I will definitely come back to Grand Paragon Hotel Again if im going to JB. Thank you for the free buffet I really ate alot and the foods ang superb delicious 😊😊😊»

«Very close location to KSL with free parking for residents. Unique LED lighting in the room which was great for movie atmosphere. Host was responsive when we had issues (remote control no battery). Only downside is that the water pressure is low, especially for hot water which led to the bathtub being lukewarm at best.»

«Stayed 3 days 2 nights at Hotel Nusa CT. The price is affordable and suitable for a short budget stay. The room was basic and spacious enough, but cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. Staff were okay and check-in was smooth. Overall, it’s fine for a short transit stay, but don’t expect luxury»
