«I really liked the property of the venue. I came to the area later in the day because it was raining on the island. Because I was in the midst of a circle around the island, I had already dealt with a rain storm at the folk Village and just needed to eat or clean up. I needed tea and a space to relax. There’s a plaza about five minutes walking from this property, and some of the amenities were closed at Playce when I arrived. I was also told at check-in that it was more like a hostel. The check-in process was fast.  The room space is very small, but the design of the hotel rooms is neat and functional. Unfortunately, there’s no luggage rack, and there are limited hours for the café, laundry, play, and bar restaurant. I had two suitcases, so I used my bed and a MacGyver way to set the carry-on.  I think this place is best suited for remote workers who are minimalists or trekkers/bikers. I still think the concept of Playce is unique. However, I wanted to go see the sunrise on the Ilchulbong hike and there’s no breakfast early in the morning. The coffee shop is not open until later either. The restaurant opens promptly at dinner time. The shop has very nice branded things, but I chose to purchase a couple of basic souvenirs. I felt a sense of hipster basically. Otherwise, the place is great. Price is best.  Although the staff was very friendly and had lots of information, I do not feel that describing the venue as a hostel was appropriate. If I cannot get my tea or coffee when the popular attraction nearby is a 40 minute walk away or a five minute taxi, then I should at least have the option that a hostel does. This means I had to utilize the coffee that I took from the previous hotel in order to make my morning start the best at sunrise.. It was suggested that I go to a restaurant locally across the street by Starbucks at the 4pm check-in since the restaurant was not open until 6 PM. Even if I had my own snacks, the option I had was to use the hot water machine downstairs. Thinking back to a hostel, I did not have the hostel kitchen. The laundry was available if needed though.  What I liked about this Playce despite the fact that it was a rainy day is the feature of the stage in the middle of the property and the fact that they do events locally on a regular basis. I liked the interior decorating and I did like the fact that they had a library/remote workers room. The food at the restaurant was delicious. When I did get to eat breakfast later in the morning after the hike (the hike spot had local shops), it was really good. When the café did eventually open, it was a very nice space. Food service literally saved my opinion late in the morning.  I like the concept of the whole property and feel that it can do better in accommodating the hotel guests, especially when it is a Chinese holiday revolving around an upcoming Korean holiday. Hours of operation are not in sync with travelers, and it is definitely not with hostel amenities. It’s a hotel.  I stayed at this location because of the price and vibe which was quite fine after 6pm. I really enjoyed the hike and the small village near the shore.»

«We had a wonderful stay at Shinhwa Jeju World Hotel and would highly recommend it, especially for families with children. The room was exceptionally spacious, giving our family plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Jeju. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. What truly stood out was the excellent service from the hotel staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. The hotel is also extremely child-friendly. There are plenty of family-oriented facilities and activities that kept the children entertained, making it a stress-free and enjoyable vacation for both parents and kids. Overall, Shinhwa Jeju World Hotel exceeded our expectations with its spacious rooms, cleanliness, attentive service, and family-friendly environment. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Jeju.»

«La habitación que reservé tiene un jacuzzi con vistas al mar. La decoración es de estilo europeo clásico, muy romántica. La habitación es un poco pequeña, pero está limpia y bien cuidada. Hay varios restaurantes y cafeterías a poca distancia, y puedo seguir disfrutando de las vistas al mar mientras como o tomo algo.»

«Este hotel ofrece la mejor relación calidad-precio en cualquier alojamiento de este tipo. Ofrece una variedad de actividades, ideal para un viaje de sanación física y mental. Las instalaciones son mejores de lo que imaginaba, y se pueden participar en actividades de pago. Además, cuenta con un spa desintoxicante. El presidente y el personal son muy entusiastas. ¡La próxima vez querré volver! La ubicación es un poco remota, ideal para viajes en coche. No hay restaurantes cerca, pero hay una cafetería. Si quieres ir a la isla de Niu y te gusta la naturaleza, puedes pasar la noche aquí, ya que está muy cerca, a solo diez minutos.»

«Aunque el registro se realiza con máquina, hay un mostrador abierto las 24 horas junto al hotel, donde el personal habla chino. Hay muchos restaurantes y tiendas de conveniencia cerca, y se ofrece café 3 en 1 ilimitado y gratuito. Hay una parada de autobús justo afuera, y lo mejor de todo es que está muy cerca de la terminal de autobuses de la ciudad de Jeju, lo que facilita el desplazamiento.»

«Llegué muy tarde por la noche. El personal del hostal te envía un mensaje antes del check-in para indicarte cómo registrarte. Es una litera, la cama está bien, no es tan pequeña como imaginaba y está bastante limpia. A la mañana siguiente, el dueño preparó sándwiches en el segundo piso; estaban deliciosos, y sí, había un perro súper lindo (✪ω✪). Lo miré con ansias, pero mejor no darle de comer, porque estoy a dieta, jajaja. El 80% de la experiencia en el hostal depende de tus compañeros de habitación. Los míos eran muy tranquilos y dormí profundamente hasta la mañana, ¡menos mal! Ventajas: Está cerca del aeropuerto, cerca de la Roca Yongduam (esta vez tenía prisa y no pude ir ε=（´ο｀*）)) Bueno, seguro que iré la próxima vez, y hay algunas tiendas de conveniencia cerca. Desventajas: ¡Aun así, está cerca del aeropuerto! El ruido del avión es un poco fuerte por la mañana.»

«Ubicado en una zona nueva de la ciudad, a poca distancia de restaurantes y hoteles Lotte City, centro comercial DFS, Twin Towers, casino Grand Hyatt y centro comercial DFS, y con fácil acceso en transporte público. Tiene un desayuno buffet bastante bueno a 30.000 o 25.500 para los huéspedes del hotel. Tiene un casino, pero estaba relativamente vacío cuando entramos a echar un vistazo a las 21:20 h. Sorprendentemente, tiene un horario de funcionamiento muy corto, de 14:00 a 21:40 h, lo que hace que el entretenimiento después de la cena sea casi imposible. Tiene un servicio de transporte en autobús gratuito desde el hotel hasta el aeropuerto y está limitado a 3 viajes programados al día a partir de las 9:30 h... no es muy útil para aquellos con vuelos más tempranos. El precio por noche de las suites era muy competitivo, dado que son muy espaciosas, con más de 40 m². Ten en cuenta que el aire acondicionado no estaba encendido durante nuestra estadía de 5 noches, del 30 de marzo al 4 de abril (temporada de primavera), y puede ser sofocante. Nos recomendaron abrir las ventanas y nos proporcionaron un ventilador para facilitar la circulación del aire. Si bien eso funciona bien, generó contaminación acústica para la otra pareja cuya habitación da a las calles principales y a los lugares de entretenimiento.»

«It was a pleasant stay. We stayed for 4 nights in March so the weather was perfect. The area felt more like a resort-style where you can drive up to the specific block/area to room. We stayed on the last floor (3rd floor) and there were no elevators. We had a good view of the ocean from our balcony. Pros: - It was a very quiet place & it was very relaxing. If you’relooking for a place outside of the city, this was a good spot. - You could jog along the coast and it was not very crowded - Room was huge and had a lot o space - Distance to many spots are quite convenient with a car - Relatively clean - There’s a local grocery nearby (near Paik coffee), we only found out about this on our last night. Otherwise, there are many convenience stores around Cons: - On the last night, the aircon was leaking and unfortunately my luggage was right below the aircon so it got a little wet… - on the first night, the aircon wasn’t very cold. But since the weather outside was quite chilly, it was relatively still bearable - On the last few nights, the shower drain was clogged so it took some time for the water to drain out.. It was fine the first few nights»
