Arriving at the train station, I found out the shuttle bus for the hotel wouldn't arrive for another 45 minutes, so we opted to walk there. It takes about half an hour but going uphill in the blazing sun was a bit torturous. The driveway is also very steep, so beware if you have a lot of baggage. Hotel has a wealth of history. It hosted a lot of famous guests in the early 20th century. Modern hotels are sterile in comparison. It's an old building, so is draughty and full of ancient furniture. This may be a turnoff for some but I found it completely charming.

La habitación es limpia y espaciosa. No hace falta decir que la higiene japonesa es muy limpia. El paisaje fuera de la ventana es pintoresco, con hojas rojas por todas las montañas y campos, y también me sumergí en las aguas termales al aire libre. La sala está equipada no solo con un juego completo de productos para el cuidado de la piel de las mujeres, sino también con un juego completo de productos para el cuidado de la piel de los hombres, incluido un juego completo de productos POLA. Después de sumergirme en las aguas termales y usar los productos para el cuidado de la piel del hotel, mi piel se volvió más blanca y brillante. El desayuno fue súper satisfactorio, mira las fotos. La impresionante es la cena de buffet del hotel, que es la cena de buffet más deliciosa que jamás haya comido. Adoro, arroz, sabor, pintura, delicioso y delicioso. La habitación es regular, está en el precio, hay una performance acrobatica en la noche del salón, es bonito, los niños les gusta mucho. El hotel está en una valla de furia, y hay un puente cerca de él para ver el paisaje.

My stay at Hotel Hatago Nagomi was a lovely experience. While the property is a bit on the older side, it more than makes up for it with a cozy atmosphere and excellent service.
Waking up to a direct view of the lake from my room was a highlight, as was winding down in the relaxing on-site hot spring. The three-course Japanese dinner was absolutely awesome and offered incredible quality for a very standard price. It’s a perfect, comfortable home base for anyone looking for an authentic stay in Nikko.

El hotel es muy limpio y hermoso.
No hay mucho almuerzo por la mañana, pero creo que es suficiente para que sea gratis.
Pero la salchicha en el gran bañera pública era demasiado desinfectante, y después de lavarme la salchicha, me cayó el olor de desinfectante en mi cuarto, así que lave un vaso en mi habitación.

酒店要下午三點才能入內，之前的時間要整理打掃，之前只有3點入住。還是第一次遇到提早到了不能進酒店的！服務人員不多，可能太忙了吧。不過房間還算不錯，晚餐也是送餐到房間，還有一箇中國女生服務我們，這麼偏僻的地方還有中文服務員倒是很難得。大堂有自助吧，飲料可以隨意取用。

The location is really good. 10 mins away from the station. Easy to find. Big hotel, about 11 floors. The room is quite spacious, part in western style with beds and part in japaneese with tatamis. There is sink in themiddle of the room, quite comfy. Good view to the mountain and forest from the window, 9th floor. Nice yukata to wear, i liked the outerpart. Breakfast and dinner is buffet, quite big choice, free beer for dinner, not so many fruits, no cakes for breakfast (dinner only). There is sushi and sashimi choice, delicious food. Onsen is quite good, clean, big. Will recommend to stay here

Each of my 3 days here I’d in Nikko I’d return to NSHC after a big day exploring and appreciate what a great place. Excellent centrally convenient to both stations (when arriving/departing and the bus stops to various regions), clean, warm, quiet, friendly, efficient, hot onsen (in & outdoors), spacious and pleasing facilities, good value & abundant breakfast which is discounted weekdays to 1500 yen (though don’t think of getting a sandwich or fruit past the hawkeye ladies attending. It’s a place that everything has been thought of and runs well. And a very secure luggage storage system if you arrive before 3pm check-in to let easily you visit the amazing World Heritage Areas by bus. Highly recommended.

一人旅にて連泊しました
三連休の真っ只中でしたが意外と泊まってる人が少ない印象でした。サービス的な部分では接客は結構良いとは思います。
お部屋部分では1人でしたのでシングルにしましたが快適に過ごせましたが、壁の外装部分が少し剥がれ気味なのは気になります（至る所に天井など）。8階でしたので眺めは良かったです。
朝食などは、屋上10階フロアでビュッフェ式でした。ごく普通程度の食事でした。
温泉はとても質がいいと思います。

CCocozazaThe room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the view was great. The free cocktail and coffee services in the lobby were nice, as well as the free drink bar (including one beer per person) near the entrance to the hot spring. The paid massage service was also good. The meals were decent, especially the grilled beef, which simply melted in my mouth. The restaurant staff welcomed us warmly and provided friendly service.
Cons: The variety of hot springs was lacking, and the view from the hot springs was almost blocked, which was disappointing. The lockers for valuables used combination dials, and foreign guests often didn’t know how to use them, locking their room keys inside and struggling to reopen them. This was a major inconvenience. They should switch to a key-and-wristband system like other onsen hotels.
The room itself felt like an old, once-grand mansion that had seen better days. The furniture had many scratches, and the surfaces were worn and peeling. It made me think it must have been impressive in the past. Still, the room was definitely more spacious compared to other hotels.

UUsuario invitadoWent for work, staff wasn’t the nicest but were accommodating enough - the night staff was a little rude, but the morning staff the next day was kind enough. I had time to kill in the lobby, where there were free massage chairs, though they were a little beaten up.
There were food and drink dispensers as well as a hot water heater and microwave for use. There are also public onsen style baths that I did not take advantage of, but they had many selections.
The room I stayed in was nothing special, but was fine for the night I was staying. The location is not great but not terrible, as there is a supermarket nearby open until midnight
My biggest piece of advice would be to rent a car if you are staying here; I took a cab then walked to the station the next day after my business in the area was done

LLi and LeeFood and service are superb. I did not check our reservation of the shuttle bus clearly so caused some misunderstanding but the manager was really nice and resolved the problem with his outstanding service. Very appreciated and thankful! And sorry for our mistake!
Food was the most recognised selling point of the place ! Keep it up !
The only weakness: The blanket was too thick for us and caused sleeping problem.
