El hotel Indigo Karuizawa de IHG es un espectacular estancia con estilo y encanto local, el diseño se siente fresco y vibrante, las habitaciones son confortables y el ambiente de montaña es maravilloso. Es perfecto para explorar Karuizawa, disfrutar de una gran comida y relajarse en el confort.

El hotel es un hotel histórico muy bonito en las montañas. El personal entero era muy amable y se iba a salir. Las habitaciones eran espaciosas y confortables. Me disfruté realmente de la atmósfera y el servicio en el Bar.

とても良い滞在になりました！行くまでは築年数から古いのかなと心配していましたがリフォームされたのかな？と思うような清潔感と新しさを感じました。駅近ではないですがシャトルバスがでているので車がなくても滞在しやすかったです！温泉はゴンドラで行くのですがそれも楽しかったです。全体的に静かで大人の癒しの滞在となりました。客層はファミリーや年配夫婦や女子旅など様々でしたが落ちついた感じで静かで良かったです。日本人が9割くらいと外国人は少なく感じました。ホテルの方はみんなとても丁寧な対応でした。また利用したいです！

What an awesome experience! The hotel offered exemplary service before we even arrived. Due to special travel arrangements, we arrived late and the staff quick to arrange an in-room bento dinner for us before our arrival. When we got there, we were immediately blown away by the gorgeousness of the hotel. Despite its age, everything was very clean and polished. I can see that great care had been taken to upkeep the hotel and it’s premises, which are extraordinarily beautiful. We couldn’t resist taking pictures even after check-out, and it took us an hour to finally reluctantly leave. Words cannot actually do the place justice, you must visit there yourself. We were very impressed with how delicious the food was, and the attention to detail, including the placement of the food, the coordination of food color. My mouth is still watering as I recall how delicious it was. I had 10 helpings of their prime rib one day. Besides, I had a dietary restriction and the staff were really careful with that, to the extent of reminding me what dishes not to eat everyday at their breakfast and dinner buffet. In addition to excellent food and service, the hotel went out of its way to be very eco-friendly. For every day that we did not need our room to be tidied, we earned points, which can be traded in for ice cream or other goodies. Finally, the staff spoke perfect English. This is rare indeed, and it made everything so much easier and so much more enjoyable. Thanks for the experience!

El precio no era muy caro, así que no esperábamos gran cosa. Sin embargo, todo fue realmente estupendo. El onsen público era grande y limpio. The staff tried their best but their English proficiency was a problem. Having to catch shuttle buses to the ski fields every day was frustrating - they were usually very crowded and infrequent (even though we travelled there out of peak season). The hotel was out of the ski boot size that one of our group needed. There was very limited (hardly any) vegetarian food available even though we had requested it before departure (some of our group were vegetarians). There were no English speaking television stations. The hotel was beautifully presented with great housecleaning and the onsen was much appreciated.

I stayed at Hotel Marroad Karuizawa, which is about a 12-minute walk from Karuizawa Station. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. The lobby has a charming retro Showa-era vibe, and the hotel is a two-story building. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet. The Japanese-style futon mattress was thick and extremely comfortable, while the Western-style bed had a good balance of softness and firmness. The room amenities were well provided, and the hotel staff were very friendly. There is also a shuttle service to the ski resort and the station, which was very convenient. Although the hotel is a bit far from Ginza Street and nearby convenience stores, taking a taxi only takes about five minutes, so getting around was still quite easy. That said, there are a few minor drawbacks: 1️⃣ There is no elevator, escalator, or ramp from the entrance to the front desk, which makes carrying luggage inconvenient. Many guests have mentioned this issue. 2️⃣ The sink has separate hot and cold water taps instead of a single mixer tap, which feels a bit outdated and less convenient. 3️⃣ The air conditioner is relatively loud. Even in sleep mode, it turns on and off automatically, which can be a bit annoying at night. 4️⃣ The hotel uses traditional keys instead of key cards, and you need to leave the key at the front desk when you go out. That said, this also adds to the nostalgic atmosphere of the hotel and fits well with its retro style.

Tuvimos una estancia absolutamente maravillosa en este resort. Desde el momento de mi llegada, el personal me recibió con genuina calidez y profesionalismo, haciéndome sentir como en casa al instante. Desde la estación de Nagano, diríjase hacia la salida de Zenkoji y camine hacia el supermercado Me Do Re para llegar fácilmente al segundo piso del hotel. Al otro lado de la calle se encuentran Donki, una tienda de conveniencia, y numerosos restaurantes; también hay restaurantes en la planta superior del supermercado Me Do Re. El hotel dio nuevas toallas y otros suministros en la puerta de nuestra habitación, ya que no teníamos un servicio de limpieza por la mañana.
