I recently had an incredible night at Cabra Castle. After attending a wedding there and being thoroughly impressed, I decided to treat my sister and her husband to a night at the castle for her 40th birthday. My husband and I also booked a last-minute surprise stay. The staff was truly exceptional and went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. I want to give a big shout out to Shauna, Rachel, Paula, Margaret, Brenda, and the entire team for their outstanding hospitality! - Sarah

We had our wedding in the Kilmore Hotel in September and we could not recommend them highly enough. The staff went above and beyond in every way so we didn't have to worry about a thing, the food was exceptional (as always) and we are so so glad that we chose there as our wedding venue. Paul, Cora, Gemma and the whole team were so helpful, friendly and really put us at ease at every stage to make sure we could relax and enjoy our day. The bedrooms were spotless and comfortable and the grounds were perfect for our photographs too. The feedback we have had from our wedding guests has been so positive and so many people commented on the quality of the service and the food. If we could do it all over again we wouldn't dream about going anywhere else.

We stayed over the past weekend and have nothing but great things to say about the hotel and staff. Check in was quick and efficient as always and we were able to book a meal for that evening in the Summit restaurant. My husband had the steak which he loved and I had the feather blade beef which was some of the nicest food I have ever tasted. Both of us agreed that the peppercorn sauce was fantastic! Staff were extremely attentive and able to answer my query regarding the wine I had- one of the nicest Italian Pinot Grigio’s I have ever had! The music in the bar that night was brilliant, a very lively male singer and there was great banter with the crowd. Breakfast on both mornings was excellent as usual, with a fantastic selection and attentive staff. Our meal in the Conall Cearnach restaurant on Saturday evening can only be described as divine! The chicken Koftas were absolutely delicious- the star of the show! My husband had the duck which was great and I had the pork medallions. Everything complemented each other beautifully and again some of the nicest food we have ever tasted. Our room was a junior double suite which was immaculately presented and had a gorgeous balcony with views of the meticulously attended to golf course. Overall another fantastic stay at the Slieve Russell and we cannot wait to return again!

A wonderful hotel over night stay, from the moment we checked in until we left we received excellent service. Our room was beautiful (Deerpark Suite), the bed was very comfortable, and a fabulous bathroom.. The Spa is one of the nicest I've ever been to. There a plenty of relaxing loungers, quite areas. The water mint thermal suite is lovely but the indoor/outdoor pool is the best part of this spa. Dinner in Maxwells Restaurant was lovely and the dinning room staff were brilliant. Breakfast in the morning was served in the Maxwell restaurant and a great choice and something to cater for everyone. I can't wait to return to the Farnham Estate again.

This hotel was outstanding we were on a dance trip with 60 of our friends and the staff especially Eoin were outstanding and very attentive especially in the restaurant and bar. The hotel was decorated beautifully and was spotless clean. The rooms were spacious and clean and cosy. The ballroom banquet hall was perfect for dancing the night away. I highly recommend this hotel for any occasion and myself and husband will be back for a little trip ourselves and next year with our friends for dancing again.
