El hotel está muy bien situado, muy bien situado, muy cerca del aeropuerto, y la mejor cosa de este hotel es el buffet de desayuno, donde siempre se necesitan. La oferta y la comida son de excelente calidad y se sirven calientes. Este hotel es nuestro destino cuando volamos de Heathrow el día siguiente.

We stayed here because it had a pool and we enjoy a swim and breakfast was part of the deal. Even though we forgot to mention mobility issues the staff changed our room without an issue. The hotel was cool and so was the room, and that was without using the air conditioning. There is no lift so bear that in mind. The breakfast had a good mix of cooked English and you can have your eggs cooked as you want them. I asked for a decaf flat white and one was made for me. A bigger mug too, the usual ones are a bit small. There is fruit, plain yogurt, ham and cheese slices and olives so something for everyone. The staff are friendly and helpful and went to get more pastries for us when they had run out. If a coach tour is in then make sure you don't arrive too late, as a lot will be gone. The food wasn't greasy and we enjoyed the variety. We used the pool and there are men's and women's changing but no disabled facilities or family changing areas. Be aware of that although there is one larger changing room most of the space and showers are open. You will need a pound coin if you want to lock your locker, but we mainly swan in the morning and there were only one or two others in the pool. It's a spa pool so not too deep. There is a gym room too, but I didn't use that. The usual work out equipment was on display. You can also book spa treatments but those are extra. Pool and gym free to guests. We would gave tried an evening meal but there was a hotel power cut and so we left early. We would definitely use this hotel again, we slept well and the bed is comfy with usb charging sockets and proper reading lights near the bed. The bistro-like round table and two chairs were much appreciated. Parking us £5 a day, which us cheaper than some hotels. There is also a hairdryer and iron in the room and the TV has modern with Freeview channels available. The bar area has comfortable seating and was showing the matches as well as the news in the morning. No subtitles though, which would have helped. As I said the only criticism was that our sink was cracked, and didn't hold water well and there is a bath shower, rather than a walk in shower unit.

Al llegar, el personal de recepción nos recibió con una sonrisa. Nos dieron las llaves de la habitación 114. Las habitaciones estaban limpias, bonitas y ordenadas, y no se podía pedir más. Algo que nos decepcionó fue el restaurante. Habíamos pedido una mesa para dos y nos preguntaron si ya habíamos reservado, a lo que respondimos que no. Para nuestra sorpresa, nos dijeron que podíamos pedir comida del menú del bar. Mi esposa, que tiene una discapacidad, se sentó y fui a la barra a pedir unas bebidas. Pedí la carta y el joven que estaba detrás de la barra, hablando con sus colegas sobre su vida personal, dijo que nos traería algo. Quince minutos después, una joven trajo nuestras bebidas y le preguntamos si podía traernos la carta, lo cual hizo. Le pedí a Ger que volviera en cinco minutos para poder ver la carta, pero veinte minutos después, el personal no aparecía. Tuve que ir a la barra y preguntar si podía pedir algo de comer, y el joven dijo que alguien vendría. La señorita se acercó y tomó nota. Nos dieron los cubiertos, que estaban manchados de comida y eran asquerosos. Unos 15 o 20 minutos después, llegaron los entrantes y luego los platos principales. Si hubiera querido sentarme en el bar y pagar más de 125 libras por una comida y recibir el servicio, habría pagado ese dinero sin problema. Podría haberme sentado en el restaurante cómodamente con mi esposa, disfrutando de la velada en un ambiente encantador. Sin embargo, habría preferido ir al pub o a un restaurante más abajo en la calle principal y recibir un servicio mucho mejor que tener a un idiota inclinado sobre la silla detrás de mí, mirando nuestra mesa, a un metro de mí mientras comía. No soy grosero, pero el hotel debería saberlo.

El hotel estaba limpio y abierto. La habitación era grande, aunque la cama se ahogó un poco en el medio de la rueda causando juntos. Había poco ruido de habitación para el ascensor como estabamos en el piso superior y junto al ascensor, así que oían el vibrante de los mecanismos de ascensores. El desayuno fue muy bueno y muy bien seleccionado.

El hotel es muy cómodo, grandes habitaciones espaciales, camas agradables, baños con ducha y baño. La sala de estar era agradable, pero el servicio se cortó mucho desde la última vez que me quedé hace unos años. Frigos vacíos la mayoría del día, snacks no se toporon. Tazas sucias en todas partes, etc. Las snacks nocturnas fueron buenas, pero de nuevo, reducidos en comparación con lo que se ofrecían. Sin embargo, los espíritus y el prosecco fueron un buen toque. El desayuno se sirve en el restaurante para los huéspedes de la sala ejecutiva. Muy bonita selección, principalmente buffet, pero huevos y omeletas cocinados para el pedido. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado. Hay un autobús de la terminal 5 a la puerta del hotel que es £6.80 por persona o puede tomar el número de autobús 5 que se detiene en la carretera fuera del hotel por £1.50. Si se quedan más de una noche, hay autobuses a Windsor, legoland, Slough y honslow (para el tubo a Londres central).

El hotel está a unos 30 minutos a pie del Castillo de Windsor. El personal del hotel varía de bueno a pésimo. Tras haberme alojado en cientos de hoteles Holiday Inn Express, suelo preferirlos. Sin embargo, ¡no recomendaría alojarme en este Holiday Inn Express Windsor!

Check-in took 45 minutes because they couldn't find my booking - but then found it on their ”old system” and it took them that long to manually move the booking to their new system and issue me with a key card. Not impressed with that wait time at all! They offered me a free drink at the bar while I waited, but not for my wife and child! That aside, it's a comfy hotel that's better than some of its exterior and interior suggests. Hot shower, good TV, plugs and USB ports on both sides of the bed, good room temperature, Fairtrade tea and coffee. Breakfast was good, including freshly cooked options.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. The facilities were well-maintained, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the overall service was of a very high standard. I would especially like to commend Kiran at reception for her outstanding professionalism and support. She ensured that our check-in process was seamless and efficient, addressing everything with a warm and courteous approach. Her attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service truly enhanced our stay. Overall, a great experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

A Wonderful Stay at the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel We recently stayed in the Windsor House section of the hotel and were thoroughly impressed. The cleanliness stood out immediately — everything from the bed to the bathroom was spotless, making it feel like a true home away from home. It’s rare to feel so comfortable using hotel facilities without hesitation, but this room was truly impeccable. The location is ideal — just by the riverside and within easy walking distance of Windsor & Eton Riverside Station, Côte Brasserie, and the boat tours. Windsor Castle is only a pleasant 15-minute walk away, making it perfect for sightseeing. The service throughout our stay was excellent. From the warm welcome at reception to the helpful and friendly cleaning staff, every interaction felt genuinely caring and professional. Our stay included breakfast, which was a generous British buffet with a wide variety of hot and cold options, including pastries, fresh fruit, and more. There were plenty of drink choices with refills available, and the coffee was lovely — a great way to start the day. In conclusion, we highly recommend the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel. We were extremely pleased with our experience and will definitely be returning in the future.
