Unfortunately this hotel didn't feel very five star. Of the Denarau resorts, it definitely had the least impressive building, with a small and underwhelming lobby. The hotel is spread over a significant distance so requires small buggies to get around, but the path isn't big enough for both pedestrians and buggies so you're constantly having to move aside for buggies if on foot. It's a bit annoying to get around and there's no shelter on the path so it was extremely hot. The staff were all friendly and helpful, so can't fault that. However, the housekeeping wasn't exactly stellar as we had constant problems with towels being taken and not replaced and nobody coming when we rang to ask for more. We ended up having to go find a cart ourselves to get another set. We also once were given a dirty towel, and they left a cleaning rag in the bath. The pools are fine, it's a series of smallish ones, so no big swimming area if you want to actually swim. The pool hours are only until 7pm, and you have to return the towels by then or you get charged. The beach is a nice walk with some pretty views. Breakfast was a bit lackluster. The coffee machine was broken most days and the coffee in the dispenser was really bad, but you have to pay extra for a barista coffee. No refrigeration of the yoghurt/cold meat left out and saw many flies on the pastries which are uncovered. Slightly limited selection of foods compared to other five star resorts. The room was nice, faced the beach and had full kitchen/laundry facilities. But there was cosmetic damage to furniture (scratches, chips, dirt). Noisy boiler in the room too and the fan only had two speeds: really fast or barely moving. Comfy bed and decent size overall. Overall, the hotel is okay, but needs a refresh and a bit more sparkle to feel like a luxury resort.

Our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Nadi Fiji was truly amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the wonderful staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The service was outstanding, and the overall atmosphere made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Everything was well maintained, and the hospitality exceeded our expectations. We had such a great time and created beautiful memories during our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Fiji — we would definitely love to come back again! 🌺🌴✨

The Food and Services are both excellent. We order smoked duck breast, Rib eye steak and oysters at Fish Bar, Server is passionate, professional and friendly, especially Sila, she is helpful and kind. She even arranged other member of staff to sing a farewell song for us.

¡Disfrutamos muchísimo nuestra estancia en el Hotel Radisson! Todo el personal fue muy amable, atento y servicial. Un chapuzón en el jacuzzi de la piscina solo para adultos por la mañana fue la manera perfecta de empezar el día. La terraza con vistas al atardecer y las cabañas de playa también fueron muy relajantes. Aunque las almohadas tenían un ligero olor a moho y la habitación no estaba bien limpia, en general nuestra estancia fue estupenda. ¡Sin duda volveremos!

We stayed at Club Fiji for our entire 5-day visit, and after exploring the area during our stay, we believe it was the best choice in Nadi. Why did we love it? The location is fantastic — right on the beach (we stayed in a beachfront bure), close to the airport but without any airplane noise. There’s a convenient free shuttle to many activities like the Vau Contemporary Dance performance or a Denarau snorkel cruise, and a taxi to Nadi town costs about 10 FJD. Our beachfront bure was newly renovated, clean, and had everything we needed — not fancy but comfortable. The beds were made regularly if we weren’t in the room when housekeeping came by. The grounds are stunning, with beautifully kept gardens and loads of chill-out spots — beach beds under umbrellas, hammocks on palm trees, two pools, and lovely spaces to eat or have a drink. The service was very personal, with staff always checking if we needed anything. They even have a travel expert on-site to help plan your activities and bookings. Entertainment happens most nights, ranging from the unique way dinners are served (like Korean grills or beach BBQs) to concerts and local celebrations. Food-wise, the buffet breakfast is simple but adequate since there are few other options nearby; the à la carte dinner menu is decent, but the special grills are outstanding. We really loved the authentic Fijian atmosphere here, which felt very different from the typical all-inclusive resorts—it had a feeling you couldn’t find just anywhere in the world.

¡Última reseña! Me alojé aquí durante 6 noches en total. Me fui solo porque reservé con antelación un Airbnb cerca del aeropuerto. Ojalá me hubiera quedado más tiempo. Disfruté mucho del ambiente y del dormitorio de chicas. La única recomendación que tengo es llevar tapones para los oídos por si el dormitorio mixto se llena, ya que puede ser ruidoso. Las duchas y el aire acondicionado son una gran ventaja. Hicieron que la estadía fuera muy cómoda. La piscina es agradable, aunque la playa en sí no vale la pena nadar en ella. ¡No había chinches! Disfruta de tu estadía.

Esto no está a la altura de un resort de 5 estrellas. En general, es una estancia agradable, pero demasiado cara y no esperes el lujo de un 5 estrellas. Desafortunadamente, no ha mantenido el mantenimiento que ha necesitado a lo largo de los años. Negativos - Tuve problemas con el aire acondicionado y dormí sin aire acondicionado, nos cambiaron de habitación para solucionar este problema. - Tenía una fuga encima de nuestra ducha en ambas habitaciones. - La nevera estaba rota en ambas habitaciones. - falta de toallas para la piscina para varios huéspedes, intenté conseguir una toalla para la piscina en varias ocasiones para que me dijeran que estaban fuera. Cuando finalmente conseguimos algunos, estaban manchados. - falta de equipo de snorkel para los huéspedes, desafortunadamente no pudimos bucear porque siempre estaban afuera. Hablamos con otros invitados que fueron y compraron algunos porque tampoco pudieron conseguirlos. - el aire acondicionado en las habitaciones es muy ruidoso - el acceso a Internet se interrumpe constantemente - No podíamos ver televisión porque Internet no funcionaba para Netflix en la televisión y nos dijeron que solo podíamos verla en teléfonos o iPads. - Los menús de comida en la habitación están sucios y desmoronándose. Positivos - la mayoría del personal es muy amable - La piscina solo para adultos es tranquila y silenciosa. - buena variedad de actividades y cosas que hacer en el hotel - El personal es muy útil cuando necesitas cosas. De hecho, intentamos reembolsar el final de nuestra estadía para poder irnos. No se lo recomendaría a la gente y solo sé que si te quedas aquí, es más como un resort de 3 a 4 estrellas.

I loved the luxurious lobby and our room with a beautiful pool view. The beach at night is stunning, especially with the fire decorations. The location is very convenient, being close to the airport, and the food is also good. However, there were some issues. We called twice for extra towels and to replace a dirty vanity kit in our room, but no one came. Some staff also seemed to take advantage of travelers. For example, we had to wait a long time to get a refund for a drink we bought at the pool bar and could only receive it after repeatedly asking. Additionally, we tried to book an early morning taxi to the airport, but the staff claimed it wasn’t possible because taxis weren’t available at that time. Later, we saw a taxi at the hotel front dropping off a passenger. The staff then quickly came out to say she can book one now. Overall, while the property and amenities are lovely, service issues affected our experience.

No major issues with the stay, and the staff were genuinely lovely and helpful. However, the hotel itself has clearly seen better days, and the aging infrastructure is starting to show. What was most disappointing is that the small details that usually make Mercure a reliable, universal brand were consistently letting us down. For example: Pillows were clean but desperately need replacing — one was purely decorative, and the other was so hard it could have doubled as a car jack. Door handle and its protective plate were loose. Broken light bulbs in both the corridor and the room. Towel rack barely hanging on. Fresh paint stains visible everywhere, including on furniture. Anti-slip mats in common areas (especially the breakfast area) were dirty. Hedges around the pool were untrimmed. Small rubbish and paper left around the pool garden and not cleaned up. Room service trays left in the corridor for over 12 hours. Arrival porch not properly cleaned. Individually these are minor issues, but together they create a strong negative impression. The hotel is showing its age, and it feels like management isn’t doing regular checks to maintain the expected standard. Small things matter — and unfortunately, they added up.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at this lovely beachfront property. The location is fantastic—just steps away from a well-maintained beach, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The hospitality of the staff truly stood out; everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with warm smiles. I stayed in the Frangipani room, which featured a unique outdoor bathroom that added a charming touch to the overall experience. The bar and bartender deserve a special mention—the drinks were excellent, and the overall vibe was relaxed and enjoyable. The food served throughout my stay was also quite good, with a decent variety and great taste.
