The Solymar beach resort is not the most expensive resort in the Hurghada/Safaga area, but it’s also not the cheapest. Because of this, we were expecting it to be quite middle-of-the-range in terms of quality. At every turn, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted. The staff were friendly and courteous - whether at the reception, in the restaurant, or walking past someone watering the grass, you are guaranteed a friendly greeting. Everyone is quick to know their customers - after just a day in our usual spot on the beach, Ahmed knew our usual order. The hyper-energetic Magic Entertainment team members were also quick to build rapport and make us feel included in the resort vibes. We plunged immediately into extreme relaxation with a “honeymoon massage” at the spa, which included time in the dry and steam saunas, a special hammam exfoliation ritual on a heated marble slab, a full-body Dead Sea mud wrap, and an oil massage. The masseuses were talkative and playful - possibly not to everyone’s taste, but this seems to be the Egyptian way and certainly got me smiling and giggling along. There is not a moment of the day when you might be at risk of going hungry. From the early breakfast in the main restaurant, to the late breakfast at the beach, to the drinks and snacks on offer throughout the day at the pool bar and restaurant, there is always a wide array of quality F&B choices. There is some variation from day -to-day options, and it’s always worth checking out the “fresh-from-the-grill” area to see what the day’s speciality may be. Part of the stay includes one complementary meal at one of the two a la carte restaurants (Italian/Egyptian) where the food is a level or two up from what’s served in the buffets. Go hungry - the Egyptian meal included a starter of hot and cold mezze, a soup, a main course and a dessert (with alternative plant-based and kiddies’ menus). The resort has done a lot to ensure that it is eco friendly. Apart from the usual request to hang up towels to save water on unnecessary cleaning, they also purify their own water, which is left in your room in chilled glass bottles (it tastes a little weird, but it’s good for the planet). Overall, highly recommend the Solymar resort.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights for my partner’s birthday. From the time I got there the hotel was very helpful with giving us a upgraded room and then going further to decorate the room/bed with heart pillows and pillow doves. They also provided a birthday cake twice on the day we arrived and on her birthday which we couldn’t be anymore thank you. I want to give a big shoutout to Mohammed the room cleaner, everyday was a surprise coming back into the bedroom he would decorate the room/bed with towels making different animals etc. Food buffet was really nice also had ice cream. ( I would say the hotel should make it so guest can get scoops for ice cream during the day not only for dinner) you get ice cream during the day but it’s ice cream lollipops etc. animation team was really good always involving everyone, want to say a shoutout to all the animation team especially mo salah, high energy and kept everyone very entertained. The beach is sandy! The photos don’t do it justice as the photos I saw online shows it to be stone beach with a bit of sand. The WiFi is good for a hotel which can be used on the beach. We was able to get a sun bed everyday by the many pools and beach. Nothing to fault this hotel was really amazing! (That’s coming from someone who only stays at high quality hotels).

El Regina es un hotel básico con todo incluido en pleno centro de Hurghada. Está a poca distancia a pie del puerto deportivo y hay bares, restaurantes, etc., justo en la puerta. La mayoría del personal es amable y las propinas te ayudan a disfrutar más (como en la mayoría de los lugares de Egipto). Samir, quien limpió nuestro bungalow, fue absolutamente fantástico. Cada día dejaba algo en la habitación que nos ayudó a disfrutar de nuestra estancia. Desde una tetera (poco común en Egipto con todo incluido) hasta zapatillas bordadas del hotel y una sonrisa maravillosa todos los días. Espero que la gerencia lo tenga en alta estima, ya que es simplemente genial. El bungalow era bastante espacioso, pero la ducha era diminuta, las camas eran cómodas y había muchas toallas limpias. La comida es básica y no está al nivel que he probado en otros hoteles de Hurghada, pero siempre había algo para picar. La cerveza se sirve en vasos pequeños de una botella y todos los licores son locales. Si, como yo, necesitas café temprano por la mañana (antes de las 7), tendrás que pagarlo. Tienen una máquina en una pequeña cafetería y en los chiringuitos de la piscina y la playa, pero no hay café de máquina disponible mientras se sirve el desayuno. En su lugar, se sirve en una tetera enorme y no es muy agradable. Si llegas antes de las 15:00, no tienes derecho a comer ni cenar después de las 12:00 de tu último día de salida; te cortan la pulsera al salir. Si llegas después de las 15:00, puedes obtener un cupón en recepción que te permite comer. Nunca he tenido esto en ningún otro hotel de Egipto (esta fue mi decimoctava visita) y le da un toque más básico al hotel. Si buscas un hotel económico para disfrutar del sol, el Regina podría ser ideal.

到的比較晚順便找的一家，第二天再去希爾頓，沒想到性價比王者，住了一晚換去希爾頓了，但這家真的可以預算不高的住這家已經非常性價比了，大廳很寬敞，房間雖然不新但是很乾凈，還有陽台，泳池，不過要注意有的房間空調壞了，及時跟酒店工作人員説，餐廳，就很豐富但不太好吃，可能我比較挑

El servicio común es bueno, pero la recepción es generalmente mala. Encontré varias cosas en el medio para encontrar una recepción diferente. La actitud es muy mala. Tiene WiFi gratuita en la sala, por lo que la sala es gratis para las personas que se lanzan a la red, porque nosotros mismos comprábamos el tráfico, y no hay WiFi en la habitación, no importa, Pero el signo de la habitación es muy malo. Me deslizaron al medio mar y tenía 4 g de piel. A menudo, en la habitación se envían unas palabras de micros y se están volviendo por dos minutos. Si quieres experimentar el mundo tranquilo de una persona, bienvenido a vivir. En cuanto al submarino, el centro de submarino de Hilton es un saco, nos cogió 5 dólares, nos arregló 4 dólares, y finalmente, el submarino encontró toda clase de razones para no llevarnos a nosotros, y cuando empezó a pagar, se necesitaba un doble cheque, cuando queríamos el euro, queríamos pagar en dólares, El que cobraba el dinero pretendía ayudarnos a comprobar el tipo de cambio y darnos más precio. Afortunadamente, los locales se han engañado mucho antes de que lo hiciera. Después de comprobarlo yo mismo le dije que el precio era incorrecto, dijo que estaba equivocado. Y el primer día de la subida, los dos subidos se subieron al barco 100-120bar, no daron ninguna razón. El día siguiente, otro subido siempre pidió que comprara el paquete de fotos, no comprara el teléfono móvil local, y es una experiencia muy mala. La playa privada del hotel no es muy buena, el agua es muy guapa, el agua es muy guapa, no se puede ver nada, no hay biología, es mejor que la calidad de la playa privada del hotel en el centro de la ciudad. La única cosa que puede comer es buena. Pero la cerveza está en agua. No volverá a fijar este hotel, ni recomendará a nadie, quién va a quién **.

Quite good all inclusive - plan, nice assortment of coctails and food. Only the ala cartes could be better. They serve same food than the buffet but you just get is served to the table. More variance. Also the reservation for the ala cartes is difficult and they are always fullybooked so we couldt even try them all. Waiters seems to serve more the house personnel who weirdly eat with the customers at same restaurant. It didnt feel nice when the cook sit whith his kitchen clothes next to us or the officers with theis suits when you are yourself at holiday mood and dressed accordingly. Usually there is own cantines for workers. Not the best beach, there isnt anything to see compared to some resorts with reefs with lot of fishes but they do have a free golc course (Par3) so it compensates, you cant have it all, can you. Big pool was freezing, even the sea is warmer so if you rely on that one and dont like to sea then you will be dissapointed. We liked the beac more as the pool gives the swimming hall wibes with the dreary tiles. I wish they would make pools more exitng and this is not for Steigenberger but generally. Nice touch that they filled the minibar daily with coke, beer and juices and it was included. They had some kind of evening program but unfortunately it was always in the front of buffet restaurant so you would need to dine there to enjoy it. Why there isnt anything at the beach? Beach parties, disco, dance shows etc. It would be nice!

It was a perfect experience for me. Me and my wife had fun so much. I strongly recommend Hotel Pick Albatros Resort Palace. Their services were awesome. There is only one serious issue I had. I wanted to join Orangerr Bay tour with my wife. Hotel Reception suggested me to work with Mr. Ayman Kady and Mr. Kady managed us a boat tour company called ”Ayaa”. I wanted to go diving but there was a misunderstanding. There was a one diving instructor guy of ”Ayaa” boat tour company. He was very rude towards guests. He was giving me attidude because of misunderstanding but also there were another couples who faced organisational issues of Ayaa as well. I asked him why he is giving attidude towards us and suddenly he started to shout at me and other 2 couples. He used many bad words against Germans and Deutschland. He mentioned that we have to act like according to his wishes because we are on his boat and in his country otherwise he would kill us diving insttuctor mentioned. Anyway I called Mr. Ayman Kady immediately when I was on the boat and thanks god there was internet connection eventhough it was too low and he called his boss and we changed boat tour immediately in diving break. Thanksfully he saved my day to be destroyed because my wife so scared and very unhappy. Eventhough It was nice experience but I do not suggest you to work ”Ayaa” boat tour company you can mentione that to Tour guide Me. Ayman Kady of Pick Albatros Resort Palace Hotel.

Excelente experiencia en este resort que recomendaría a cualquiera : a pesar de ser un par joven y el resort es también para familias nunca hemos advertido esto y nos hemos podido relajar sin estrés! Muy bonita y super limpia habitación, varios restaurantes y bares donde se come bien( la fórmula all inclusive es realmente perfecto !), Profesionalidad y amabilidades de todo el personal( realmente gracias del primer al último!!), y también el servicio de animación ( nunca invasivo , todos amables y interesantes!!! ). Piscinas con hidromasaje, playa con mar super limpio , ¿qué más preguntar ? Realmente una agradable descubrimiento en Hurghada ! Gracias de nuevo y esperamos pronto !!!
