«Esta vez elegí alojarme en el Hotel Beihai en Huangshan por dos razones. Primero, planeaba una excursión tranquila, y es la mejor opción para estar cerca del teleférico de Yunggu. Segundo, es un hotel de primera categoría, recién renovado, que se ajustaba perfectamente a mis necesidades. Al registrarme, descubrí que la habitación estaba muy bien equipada: chaquetas de plumas, cafetera, equipo de música, linterna y una excelente temperatura y presión del agua en la ducha. Tal comodidad en la montaña fue una grata sorpresa. En cuanto a la comida, fue absolutamente perfecta: el té de la tarde, la cena buffet y el desayuno buffet me aseguraron que no pasaría hambre. «The hotel was located in an awkward area, which isn’t easily accessed when the nearby cable car isn’t active. I wish we’d been told when booking. We had to hike over an hour just to arrive at the hotel, lugging our luggage. You can pay to have workers carry it (which felt so wrong but we physically couldn’t carry it back). The hotel assisted in this, which was nice—but suddenly, we found the price climbing higher and higher as we talked with them. The restaurant food wasn’t great, either. I don’t eat meat and I about near starved, haha. There was smoking inside too, which wasn’t pleasant. The room itself was nice for a night. There were jackets and torches inside, the hotel alerted us to the weather conditions. All in all, a bit of a mixed bag!»

La ubicación es excelente: a solo 10 minutos a pie de la parada del autobús que lleva a las montañas.
El dueño del hotel es increíblemente amable y atento. Al llegar, me cambió a una habitación más espaciosa y cómoda sin coste adicional.
También me ayudó a planificar la mejor ruta según mi tiempo disponible y las condiciones meteorológicas, y compartió muchas anécdotas interesantes sobre la historia local.

Había leído en reseñas anteriores sobre la poca presión del agua y la temperatura inestable, pero todo funcionó a la perfección. Mi habitación tenía ducha y una bañera pequeña.
También se puede pedir comida al hotel, pero opté por cenar en diferentes lugares de la ciudad; hay muchas cafeterías cerca, así como farmacias y supermercados.
Al final de mi estancia, el dueño del hotel me organizó un traslado a la estación, que me costó cinco veces menos que un taxi normal.

Tomé un minibús de 30 RMB desde la estación de tren de alta velocidad hasta la Puerta Sur, y luego caminé 30 minutos hasta el hostal (claro que se puede usar Didi), pero preferí explorar a pie. Por la mañana, caminé 15 minutos a lo largo del arroyo desde el hostal hasta el centro de transferencias de la estación de Xiaoyao, e incluso me tomé un tazón de sopa de carne. ¡Quienes planeen subir al Huangshan deberían salir temprano, porque la montaña se llena muchísimo!»

Prior to stay, the staff are very prompt in helpful Q and A. Services are exceedingly good, excellent and accomodating. All staff are friendly, approachable, and careful to details. Sharing local culture and history, and place of interest. Outstanding concierge service.
Our stay include Tea appreciation, sumptuous dinner (2 choices), and hearty breakfast (2 choices). We were given complimentary drinks at bar, and alternative dishes to met dietary requirement. Very useful that hotel provide Hotel-Train station transfer. service, and other short distance ride to Huangshan hiking entrance (saved a lot of time).
Staff helped us booked our Cableway tickets which saved us time to queue for tickets and avoid buying wrong tickets.
Very spacious open concept, clean and modern room and furnishings like king size bed, large Sofa, round Table TV. Balcony with lush tranquillity view of nature full of mountainous greenery and waterfall. Sound of nature (cicada) and fortunately room comes with good sound proofing sliding door.
Bath tub, shower area, and WC with build in sensor and biget spray. Standard Amenities are provided. Electric source is China 2-pin 3-pin plug standard and USB.
Hotel is located within the Huangshan park (?). Saving us time in getting clearance at Park security office as the Driver brought us through the security checks with ease. We felt like VIP.
Hotel is a short drive away to nearest cableway (called ‘hot spring’ cableway etc.). Do bring rain coat as weather up in the mountain is unpredictable. It rained when we reached up at ‘Yuping’ cableway. Hotel staff offered us rain coat.
We have a skilful driver to transport us safely form our Hotel-Train station transfer.

From the very beginning to the moment we checked out, everything felt thoughtful, well-organized, and genuinely welcoming. What really sets this place apart is not just the beautiful property, but the level of care and service provided throughout the entire stay.
Even before our arrival, the host proactively contacted us via WeChat to confirm details and assist with planning. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease.
The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. Housekeeping standards were excellent — everything felt carefully maintained and spotlessly clean.
One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea, which was freely available and not limited or rushed. This wasn’t just a symbolic offering; it was something you could genuinely enjoy at your own pace. Sitting down in such a peaceful environment with tea and snacks after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. It added a sense of warmth and hospitality that you don’t often find, especially in scenic-area accommodations.
Throughout our stay, the host remained available and attentive without ever being intrusive. Whether we needed advice on sightseeing routes, dining recommendations, or small practical help, everything was handled patiently and efficiently. You truly feel that the host cares about your experience, not just about running a business. Traveling with family can sometimes be stressful, but staying here made everything feel effortless.
The location is another strong advantage. Situated near Huacheng Temple, the homestay is in a quiet area that feels removed from crowds, yet it’s still very convenient for visiting key temples and attractions. Evenings were peaceful and silent, which is exactly what you want after a full day at Jiuhua Mountain. The surrounding atmosphere perfectly matches the calm and reflective nature of the destination.
What impressed us most was the overall sense of being well taken care of. This is not a place where service is performative or scripted — it feels sincere and consistent. From the communication, to the comfort of the room, to the little details like afternoon tea and thoughtful guidance, everything worked together to create a genuinely memorable stay.

Cuando elegimos el hotel, sólo vimos los nombres de sus habitaciones, el divertido de los niños, y entrar realmente puede decir que es muy divertido de los niños! Los niños aman a los pequeños gatos y las chicas en la población, y no quieren ir... Y el nombre de este gato también es muy divertido llamar Ray 😂. My stay at Luming Valley Hotspring Holidays B&B exceeded every expectation from the moment we drove up the hill.
My husband and I stayed in the Mountainscape Terrace Mountain View Suite, which genuinely felt like a 5‑star hotel room. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and equipped with an incredibly comfortable bed, a fully stocked mini fridge, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The smart controls operated by “Xiao Bao” were a fun and convenient touch. We were completely blown away and honestly wished we could have stayed in the room forever.
Even before our arrival, the staff communicated with us via WeChat to ensure everything went smoothly. We were able to speak with an English‑speaking staff member who took care of every detail for us—booking the hot springs, arranging breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea, and even offering to help us get to the train station on our last day. Their attentiveness went far beyond anything we’ve experienced at other hotels. We were even given a thoughtful bag of gifts upon departure.
Because the hotel is quite isolated, we ate all our meals on-site. The cuisine is Chinese, which isn’t usually my preference, but everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great care. A standout was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on our second day. We could choose to dine in our room or at the restaurant, which was perfect depending on how we felt each day.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot springs. There are four in total, and we used the two located higher on the hill, which offered an incredible view—even on a cloudy day. The temperature was perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff assured us that each pool is drained and refilled after every use, which gave us great peace of mind. Soaking in the hot springs in the heart of winter, surrounded by Huangshan’s beautiful mountains, was an unforgettable experience.
The hotel is about an hour from both Huangshanxi and Huangshanbei stations and easily reachable by car or Didi. Due to the weather, we didn’t visit the mountain scenic area, but the staff were more than willing to help us plan if we wanted to explore the surroundings.
This was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff make you feel like you’re the only guests there with their warmth and attentiveness. The design and architecture are stunning, and the hotel even smells amazing. I have absolutely no complaints and would rank this among the best hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. It’s a perfect romantic getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. I can’t wait to return!

Before our arrival, the hotel owner contacted us to help us find the hotel. Because it is located in the Hongcun ancient village (which is a restricted area), taxis and didi cannot access the area but the hotel owner helped us bring the big luggages upstairs and also helped us on our way back. In general, he was very responsive and answered all our questions. We used WeChat for easy translation.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Hongcun village,vry close to the entrance and also close to all the scenic spots. It is just mesmerizing, the hotel itself is a work of art. No matter how much we looked, there were always new things to discover. The decor was fantastic, it was representing the Hui style. A pleasant surprise was the view from our bathroom. The amazing wooden windows opened a magic view to the big hall. The view from the window in front of the bed are Hui-style houses and the mountains. Drinking coffee there and getting ready was a bliss.
The room itself was also very beautifully decorated and kept clean.
If i would come to Hongcun again, I will definitely choose the same hotel. It made our experience purely magical. While visiting the ancient buildings in the village, we were happy to come back to our room, which was as beautiful. Thanks a lot to the hotel staff and especially the owner!

Esta vez elegí alojarme en el Hotel Beihai en Huangshan por dos razones. Primero, planeaba una excursión tranquila, y es la mejor opción para estar cerca del teleférico de Yunggu. Segundo, es un hotel de primera categoría, recién renovado, que se ajustaba perfectamente a mis necesidades. Al registrarme, descubrí que la habitación estaba muy bien equipada: chaquetas de plumas, cafetera, equipo de música, linterna y una excelente temperatura y presión del agua en la ducha.
