El hotel es muy bueno y el desayuno es lo mejor de este viaje a Suiza y Austria. Nos dieron una habitación para cuatro personas, ¡genial! La piscina está abierta hasta las diez de la noche y también hay sauna. Lástima que no traje bañador.

I booked this hotel as the price was good and reviews were very good. After staying for 5 nights I can honestly say the staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much for them and every single time you see them they always would smile and speak to you and see how you are doing. I cannot praise them enough especially the lady on reception (sorry I did not get your name). The room was extremely clean and although the decor was dated (which fit the theme for the hotel so not a complaint) you could see the cleaning was extremely good and always done daily. The beds were comfy but 1 small suggestion is the sofa bed to have a matress topper as it can be a little too firm in areas. The hotel is in a great location, shuttle bus nearby to titlis or brunni or even a very short walk to the local monastery. The only feedback I would give is the hallways at night got very dark and sometimes the lights would not illuminate the stairs or hall very well. I have to say during the stay though the staff corrected this but it took a few days. Breakfast was lovely small spread but very nice. Again staff were fantastic there and would always happily greet you Thank you to the team for our stay and for sure I would recommend and stay again

Looking for a relaxing break in the Swiss Alos, close to the slopes, I found this little gem: a hotel, pretty rustique in the traditional Swiss way! Not far from the heart of Engelberg but far enough to contemplate the sky, see the stars and hear only the heartbeat of nature. Clean, very very clean, with comfortable rooms, not big, just comfy, most with a balcony overviewing the village. Staff, super nice and polite, ready to help and advise: had a 10% discount in my ski rental and anytime I wanted to go skiing they got in the minivan and took me to the resort! The restaurant was also nice, with delicious dishes and a savvy wine list. Not to miss! Only point I would like to note, the breakfast buffet: every day the same, not always fresh fruits available. Would like some variety and some chocolate croissants, please! Overall, a must go!

Verena is a lovely lady, very chatty and only too happy to assist. Her house is beautifully renovated, wonderfully clean, and in a great location for exploring the local places - however as a fellow B&B owner (who regularly receives 10/10 on Booking com from my guests), I felt Verena’s guest house is best described as a “posh hostel”. She claims to have spent many years in luxury hospitality but as a guest it’s not luxurious if: 1) you have to take your dressing gown, towels, bath mat, wash bag and clothes into a shared bathroom; 2 shared bathrooms and two separate toilets for 5 bedrooms (10 people) is not luxurious. 2) you have to climb over your partner to get out of bed because the bed is jammed up against the wall on three sides, and as such you have no where to put anything during the night, no bedside table, or even a shelf above the headboard. 3) you have to go into the shared bathroom just to use the provided hairdryer. I do not understand why there isn’t one in each room. 4) you have to forgo reading your book in bed because the only (minuscule) bedside lamp is on the other side of the bed. In this modern era, and at £200 a night (even in Oct!), a shared bathroom / toilet is not acceptable (all of my rooms are ensuite); so it never even occurred to me to check that the rooms might not be ensuite at that price 😳 We stayed two nights and as such the room was tidied during our stay - but - all the towels that we had used were folded up ‘as new’ and put back on the rail amongst the unused towels. As conscientious eco friendly users we thought this an odd thing to do. We wanted to use the minimum amount of towels possible, but I had no idea what I had or hadn’t used so quite probably the whole lot would have to be washed unnecessarily after our stay, when we restricted ourselves to using just one towel each. Based on Verena’s system, keeping your towels in your room makes sense, however there is only a pretty metal stand on which to hang them up, there is not the usual radiator on which they can be hung to dry / air when damp.

Me complace recensar el Hostel Youth de Engelberg, que tuve la oportunidad de visitar durante una visita escolar. Desgraciadamente, tengo que ver que las habitaciones estaban intrigadas con un aroma desagradable, el wifi estaba fuera de servicio y me ha parecido profundamente desagradable que los pimientas y las cubiertas no se laváran sino que estaban cubiertas únicamente por la piel. Al desviar la Federación del pluma, vi una mancha de la extraña coloración que parecía ser una afirmación de poca atención a la limpieza, por lo que decidí dormir sin. Lamentablemente, el olor nos ha obligado a mantener las ventanas abiertas durante la noche, haciendo que la experiencia sea aún menos cómoda. La calidad de la comida no ha cumplido las expectativas, en particular la carne que consumí por mí y mis compañeros de habitación nos ha causado molestias intestinales. El único aspecto positivo del Hostel Youth en Engelberg es la vista del paisaje que se puede admirar desde las ventanas. En conclusión, no recomiendo este alojamiento a nadie, ya que hay ciertamente alternativas mucho mejores.

Decidimos temporalmente quedarnos en Engelberg por una noche y otro fin de semana, por lo que se puede reservar todo el hotel en Engelberg y el precio es más alto. Después del check-in, la habitación era bastante grande, pero el equipamiento era muy simple, probablemente el mismo que el doméstico 168, hay un pequeño balcón. El hotel tiene un buen desayuno, el hotel tiene una buena ubicación y se construye un nuevo hotel al lado. El aparcamiento está justo detrás del hotel.

El hotel está situado justo enfrente de la estación de tren con parada de autobús (esquí) y, por suerte, tiene ventanas de pruebas de sonido. El hotel está muy bien renovado, con un antiguo patrimonio y una pequeña habitación con vistas a la ciudad. El estacionamiento del hotel es de 15 - por noche, lo que está bien. The management has chosen to implement 2G rule (German shortening for vaccinated/recovered), although according Federal Covid-19 order, this only applies for hotel’s restaurant/bar. This should be more clearly stated on the booking site.

El hotel es bueno! El servicio tambien es bueno. Lo que me faltaba en desayuno es zumos naturales:( y desayuno es por 3.5 estrellas. Lo que hay aqui HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! es que la gente tiene permiso de caminar TOTALMENTE DESNUDOS :((((( en zona de Spa. ADEMAS EN SAUNA, cuando entramos, mi pareja y yo abrimos la puerta de Sauna y encontramos 2 chicas totalmente desnudas con Piernas Arriba!!! Y como puedo relajarme??? Con tanto dinero que pagado aqui por 3 dias (RESERVADO UNA HABITACION MAS CARA) NO ES DESCANSO!!! Nosotros estamos con muy mala experiencia con el Seehotel Wilerbad Seminar & Spa la verdad Administracion de este hotel tiene que hacer unas normas!!!!!! Cuando estaba reservando este Hotel pensaba que me relajarme con mi pareja. Pero no Total es: 1) GASTADO DINERO POR NADA. 2) MAL HUMOR. 3)Y PERDIDO SU DIAS DE FIESTA PARA MIRAR LOS ORGANOS INTIMOS DE UN MONTON DE GENTE !!! ESPERO QUE LA ADMINISTRACION PRESTE ATENCION !!!! GRACIAS.
