La mejor decisión (eso es lo que dijeron) es que me dieron un bono para el desayuno lmao!!!! ¡Si no me lo habían encontrado, me lo habían dicho y el último día cuando me había ido, ya me habían dicho que sí, podemos llamar a la policía si quiero resolver este problema! ¡Por 2 días no han hecho nada, cada vez que llegué al escritorio delantero había trabajadores diferentes y era muy difícil encontrar un gerente! Así que si decides quedarte aquí, guarde todo tu trabajo en el pañuelo. La casa de baño es muy buena, pero no es muy buena.

We were greeted by a very friendly asian man receptionist even if we arrived too early. We had marvelous time following his suggestion to look around close market. The hotel is very luxurious & clean. Located close to all the great attractions as well as the airport. Especially, the fast checkout option was very convenient. Wish they had postcards with historic information about this hotel and if I could have sent postcards to my family back in Korea since this hotel is a historic place(post office building). I'm looking forward to coming back to Sydney and staying here again and exploring other branches around the world.

We go to Sydney twice a year for shopping. Always stay at Stamford Mascot. Location great. Walk from domestic airport 5 to 10 mins. Walk from hotel to mascot train station. 10 mins. Always have the buffet breakie. Good variety. Staff always accomodating. Rooms very spacious with all amenities and very clean

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The location was the best thing since it’s in the middle of the city. Just 20 minutes walk to China town/ Opera House/ The rocks market. However, don’t expect anything that is new. Their lobby is new and nice. The rooms though are quite old especially their bathroom. (Sadly I don’t have any photos of that). House keeping wise I wouldn’t say they did a very good job at it since every day they would forget to put down either new towels or tea bags for us.

The standard pillows were uncomfortable so we took advantage of the ‘pillow menu’ option and had the best sleep on our second night! Thank you W for having this option for guests.  The complimentary options are good and the pool facilities are excellent. Loved it!

Hotel muy antiguo, pero con capacidad para 3 personas. La bañera no está en muy buenas condiciones, no es recomendable para sumergirse en ella. Cerca de la estación central de trenes de Sídney, a 5-6 minutos a pie. También está cerca de la estación de tranvía y el hotel está cerca de Chinatown. No hay problema con la comida. El desayuno del hotel es regular, cuesta 23 dólares australianos por persona.

My family had a great time at Sydney Central Hotel. The receptionists checked us in early and gave us a late checkout and there was a kid’s corner for my kids to play at. The room was quite retro and cozy, and the beds were very soft and comfortable to sleep in. The TV also had many nice channels that my kids enjoyed watching. Also, the breakfast was delicious and there was a fruit juice machine there. The bathtub was good. Lotion was provided. Corridor has funny smell. The Landry room was very useful. However, the swimming pool was very small. No slippers, no water provided. Toothbrush on request.

When I booked two Deluxe Family Rooms at Furama Darling Harbour for a 6-day stay with family, I had high hopes for comfort, convenience, and a pleasant experience. Here’s how it went. Location: Convenient, but Parking Woes The location of Furama Darling Harbour is undoubtedly one of its highlights. Nestled within walking distance of numerous restaurants offering cuisines from all over the globe, it was a food lover's dream. Finding the hotel wasn’t a challenge either, thanks to clear signage and central placement. However, the parking situation? That’s another story. The hotel doesn’t have an on-site parking lot. Instead, we had to park about a five-minute walk away, which isn’t ideal when lugging bags or dealing with Sydney’s occasional drizzle. Plus, the cost added up—$244 AUD for six days. If parking convenience matters to you, it’s worth factoring this in. Cleanliness: Mixed Experiences Cleanliness was... average, to say the least. While the first day seemed fine, housekeeping didn’t exactly shine as the stay went on. On Day 2, we were surprised (and not in a good way) to find dirty towels left after the room was cleaned. Fast forward to Day 5, and we found toilet paper and stray hairs under the blanket after housekeeping had supposedly “refreshed” the space. Not exactly the five-star housekeeping you’d hope for. To be fair, we didn’t raise the issue with reception that evening—it was our last night, and we figured housekeeping staff would already be off-duty. But, as a guest, you shouldn’t have to weigh these options. Service: Quick and Friendly, But a Breakfast Mishap Service at Furama Darling Harbour was a bright spot overall. The staff were warm, responsive, and accommodating, whether it was resolving issues with the TV or bringing up extra towels. That said, we hit a snag with the included breakfast. Our booking clearly stated breakfast for four people per room, which should have covered eight of us across two rooms. Yet, when we went down, they claimed the booking only covered four breakfasts total. After some back-and-forth with both hotel staff and Trip’s customer service, the issue was resolved. But it wasn’t exactly a stress-free start to the day. Facilities: Functional, But Nothing Fancy The gym was basic but functional—a single machine covering major muscle groups, though no free weights were in sight. It’s fine if you’re just looking to get in a quick workout. The laundry room was handy, though a bit pricey: $5 AUD each to wash and dry, plus $3 AUD for detergent. Breakfast, while initially enjoyable, became repetitive after two days. A buffet should ideally offer more variety, but here the options changed only slightly. Updating the in-room TVs to include smart features wouldn’t hurt either; it felt like the tech was stuck in the past. Rooms: Spacious and Comfortable Now, for the standout feature—the rooms. They were impressively spacious, with plenty of room for our luggage and still enough space to move around comfortably. The beds? Absolute heaven. I slept like a rock every night, with no noise disturbances or distractions. The bathroom mirrored this sense of space, steering clear of that cramped, claustrophobic feeling that some hotels suffer from. It’s refreshing to stay somewhere that values comfort this much. Final Thoughts: Worth a Stay, Despite Flaws Would I recommend Furama Darling Harbour? Absolutely, especially for families. The spacious rooms, friendly service, and fantastic location make it a strong contender. Yes, cleanliness and parking could use improvement, but the positives—comfortable beds, quiet nights, and accommodating staff—outweigh the negatives. If you can overlook a few quirks and minor inconveniences, Furama offers a good home base for exploring Sydney. Just be ready for some parking acrobatics and keep an eye on those housekeeping details!

Great location within walking distance of good sights. Room was clean and showers and toilets were better than I imagined! Not a lover of sharing but it wasn’t bad at all. Was able to store my luggage there when I couldn’t check in yet, and after I checked out. Reception area was nice and welcoming. Would have been nice to have had towels provided or at least got the full amount back on return. Seems a little odd having to pay for them and give them back, if I’d have known I would have taken my own. Didn’t have time to eat in the cafe downstairs as there were so many other places in Sydney I wanted to visit but it looked good! The noise in the club below was very loud and did keep me awake until the early hours!

It has a very exciting atmosphere and although it is a bit far from the city centre, I was happy with it. I only booked a single room for one night to pack up my luggage before going to the airport, but if I get the chance next time, I would like to stay here. Although I heard the sound of the person next door farting, the soundproofing seemed to be good. There was an inconvenience because there was no elevator.

Great location. Very close to Chinatown where there's plenty of food options available even late at night. Paddy's market is just 5 mins away and CBD is about 15 mins walk. Friendly people in the front office. Very attentive. Awesome housekeepers. Always smiling and greeting customers.

Buena ubicación, a solo 10 minutos a pie se puede llegar a la estación central. Muy fácil ir al aeropuerto. El hotel estaba detrás de una calle concurrida, por lo que no era muy ruidoso. Está cerca de la estación de tren ligero de Chinatown y se puede caminar hasta George Street en 10 minutos. También es fácil ir al ayuntamiento, QVB y la Ópera en tren ligero. The location of the stay was close to everything. Easy access to paddy market, china town and town hall. The bed was good but the restroom and shower room was too small. You can just do the same position for the entire shower and is easy to get all your change cloth wet as well due to the small area in the shower place.

Nice average hotel close to airport. Can see some of the plane from our room (3rd floor) gave us an extra 30 minutes as late check out. Unfortunately has to pay $30 per night for parking so keep that in mind. Some hotel has free parking if you checked in. 15 mins walkin to the train station too.

Great service apartment, very close to airport and only 15minutes by metro to downtown. Around the hotel are a lot of shops and restaurants-perfect for a city trip top Sydney. Only disadvantage is, the checkout is before 10am, it can be extended to 11, after that the hotel will charge something extra.

Es la mejor relación calidad-precio al mismo precio 🉑️. Es la primera opción para coger un vuelo. El desayuno está incluido. Está muy cerca del aeropuerto, pero no es algo a lo que puedas ir andando muy rápido. Como caminar, pasé por el opuesto en el camino (en la foto), la reseña de mi amigo sobre el lugar en el que se alojó fue muy normal.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel before flying out for our wedding. My fiancé’s family is from the US, and I had been showing them around Sydney, however due to the limited time we had one night stay in the Blue Mountains before returning to stay with the hotel. The FO manager allowed us to store our large luggage at the hotel because we had not the car space for the luggage going up to the mountains. The service attendants were, kind, prompt and considerate. The design of the interior of the hotel is very different for a Pullman, and when we went up to our room we had a handmade card from the reception staff wishing us well for our big day! They accompanied this lovely gesture with macaroons and a room upgrade. Being stressed about this part of our itinerary, I had a lot of communication with the staff and they were very helpful, always offering thorough and convenient suggestions. Thank you Pullman, looking forward to staying with you again!

Lovely, peaceful only thing was the stains on the walls and floors were quite concerning, too tired to care about that though
