Este hotel está ubicado en un edificio de oficinas muy alto, de más de 50 pisos; me alojé en el piso 30. Como mi inglés es limitado, el guardia de seguridad de la recepción me ayudó a contactar a un miembro del personal del hotel. Bajó con la llave de mi habitación y me acompañó arriba. Dejé mi pasaporte en la recepción a cambio de una tarjeta de acceso. La habitación parecía diseñada para estancias largas; tenía una cama doble, una litera, un televisor, un refrigerador y una cocina. Se cobró un depósito de 3000 pesos al registrarme, que se reembolsó al hacer el check-out. El restaurante de comida rápida de la planta baja, Jollibee, podría no ser del agrado de los huéspedes chinos. La habitación tenía muchas instrucciones, dos páginas por cada lado, haciendo especial hincapié en no fumar, no dañar objetos y la necesidad de limpiar la habitación al hacer el check-out. El wifi era prácticamente inexistente. Un pequeño favor: dejé una pequeña bolsa en la habitación y, mientras esperaba un taxi, un miembro del personal me la trajo; se lo agradecí mucho.

It's tucked away inside San Antonio Village, which is a quiet and secure gated community, giving you peace of mind in a busy city. Yet, you're only a short, manageable walk away from major hubs like SM Megamall, Capitol Commons, and Shangri-La Plaza. If you rely on public transport, the proximity to the Shaw Boulevard MRT station is a huge plus. It’s an ideal base for shopping, working, or accessing neighboring Ortigas Center. The Staff deserves special mention. From the security guards to the front desk, everyone is genuinely friendly, accommodating, and quick to address requests. In a large metro, great service makes all the difference, and the team here is absolutely the highlight of the stay. The Rooms are surprisingly spacious, especially compared to newer, smaller budget studios. Many units come equipped with a small kitchenette (refrigerator, electric kettle, microwave in some), a comfortable desk for working, and good air conditioning. It’s a clean, safe, and functional space that is easy to call home for a few days or weeks. Areas for Improvement (Why It's a 7/10) The main drawback lies in the execution of the property's facilities and basic comforts, which occasionally feel a little dated or incomplete. * Facility Consistency: While some units might offer a full suite of amenities, the overall facilities rating tends to lag. Simple things like having a reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi connection that never drops, or ensuring basic bathroom items (like a foot rug or consistent soap refills) are always present, are areas where the residence can be hit or miss. * Accessibility Check: For those traveling with a lot of luggage, prepare to handle it yourself. There’s a noticeable lack of luggage ramps or a dedicated doorman to assist upon arrival, which can be a hassle, especially on check-in day. * Evening Access: While the gated community setting is safe, the convenience gates nearest popular dining spots reportedly close around 10 PM. This means if you are out late, you might have a longer walk back through the main gate, which can be inconvenient. Verdict: If your priorities are location, safety, and having a good, functional space with excellent staff—and you're willing to overlook some minor facility and logistics kinks—The Studio 18 Residences is a smart and affordable choice. It provides far better value than many nearby hotels. It’s not a luxury experience, but it’s a perfectly reliable home base in Pasig. A strong recommendation for budget-conscious business travelers and long-term stayers.

We had a wonderful stay at Lanson Place and really enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer. The hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. One of the things that stood out the most was the amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and always greeted us with a smile whenever we passed by. The service and hospitality made us feel very well looked after throughout our stay. We also loved the breakfast buffet, afternoon snacks, and pre-dinner drinks—such lovely extras that made our stay even more enjoyable. The infinity pool was another highlight, with a beautiful view and a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, we had such a lovely and memorable experience at Lanson Place. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we will definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Manila. Highly recommended! ❤️

The place is so good and the staff of pbby is very accommodating. Clean room nice ambiance and super nice facilities. It's my 2nd time around to check in here and they never disappointed me thank you keep up the good work ☺️👌🏻

Me gustaría compartir mi excelente experiencia con Mel de Gemstones. Desde el momento de la reserva hasta el check-in y el check-out, Mel fue increíblemente servicial y atenta. Hizo que todo el proceso fuera sencillo, sin estrés y realmente agradable. Mel me proporcionó actualizaciones claras y constantes, respondió a todas mis preguntas con prontitud y se esforzó al máximo para asegurarse de que todo estuviera bien preparado antes de mi llegada. La limpieza es muy pobre. Wifi no funciona. Por favor, no use el dormitorio. Es tan desagradable. No sé cuánto tiempo no ha sido limpiado.

La ubicación está muy cerca de donde mi negocio en Makati está. Restaurantes, tiendas e incluso tienda de conveniencia está justo fuera de la propiedad. Muy conveniente. El personal del hotel también es amigable.

I have used other vacation apps to plan my travels -I have just realized Trip.com is top notch when it comes to preparing/reminders/changes for the upcoming hotel/flight . Now back to the property this NOT to make a business like a condo/hotel rental look bad but an honest observation coming from some like me that resides N American country Like USA(I am Asian and American raised ) As a SE Asian traveler -they are NOT prepared to the needs: Promptness Deposit /over verification -too much paperwork/TIME (Excuses for being late -like 15 -30 mins is nothing to some culture but in the USA we learned “if you’re on time “ you’re late . I hope you take this in consideration for the aforementioned. Traveling to let’s say Japan or Philippines, pack extra patience you will NEED it they say they are proficient in English ask again , 24/7 means open all day and all night & most doesn’t understand those numbers. Personally I will stick to Hotels where I’m not asked for cash deposit (1 night ONLY) I had to use U$D i ran out of local currency. I had to take a pic of my $40 so I know for sure it was indeed the money I gave them ( I shouldn’t have this type of feeling -but I did :/ ) long rant thanks for listening

We absolutely loved the vibe and ambiance of the hotel, which makes it even more disappointing to say that our entire experience was ruined by the poor service. We arrived early to ask if early check-in was available. We completely understood when we were told that check-in starts at 3:00 PM, so we left for lunch and came back exactly at 3:00 PM. Since we had already completed the check-in process earlier, we expected to receive our room key without any issues. Instead, we were told that our room was still not ready. What made the situation even more frustrating was seeing other guests who were just checking in receive their room keys while we continued waiting. After waiting for about 30 minutes, we were finally given our key card—only to discover that it didn't work. We couldn't even enter our room and had to return to the reception, where we waited for almost another 30 minutes while the staff tried to figure out what was wrong. The most disappointing part was that I had to follow up multiple times before anyone offered us another room. There was very little communication, no sense of urgency, and no apology that made us feel our time was valued. We booked this hotel specifically because we were attending a concert and wanted a comfortable place to rest and freshen up beforehand. Instead, because of the delays, we had no opportunity to shower, change comfortably, or even rest. We ended up going straight to the concert feeling exhausted and frustrated, which completely defeated the purpose of booking the hotel in the first place. Our room was at Richmond Eastwood. While I understand it may be managed separately, the staff from Richmond were the ones assisting us. Unfortunately, it genuinely felt like guests who booked directly with Richmond were given better treatment and priority than those who booked through this property. Whether or not that was actually the case, that was certainly how the experience made us feel. When we checked out, the staff gave us a complimentary cake, which we appreciate as a kind gesture. However, by that point, the damage had already been done. The delays, inconvenience, and frustration had already ruined our mood and our overall experience. While the cake was a nice attempt to make up for what happened, it couldn't undo the time we lost or the experience we were hoping to have. It's unfortunate because the hotel itself has so much potential. The ambiance is wonderful, but great facilities mean very little when the service falls far below expectations. We left feeling disappointed and would think twice before staying here again.
