The place was super clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent—close to the Duomo, with plenty of gelato shops, supermarkets, and even a Asian markets nearby, which was really convenient. The area was also not very noisy, making it easy to rest after a day out. A small suggestion would be to provide umbrellas for travelers who may not bring one, especially during rainy days. Overall, a great stay and I’d happily recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Paolina! The building is located in the heart of Lucca’s historic centre, just a 10-minute walk from the train station and within easy walking distance of all the main sights, charming streets, and great restaurants. The property is beautifully maintained and has such a wonderful atmosphere. We stayed in Apartment 1, which has two bedrooms and a lovely balcony. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for cooking. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated. We also had the opportunity to see Apartment 2, with its three bedrooms — it is even more spacious and beautifully bright, just like our apartment. One of the things we loved most was the feeling of the place. It smells wonderful, has a lovely energy, and you immediately feel at home. It is the kind of place where you simply want to stay. Roberto, who manages the property, is extremely professional, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel like a guest rather than just a customer. The housekeeper is also incredibly kind and warm. Everyone makes you feel so welcome that you almost have the feeling of being part of a family, even though it may be your very first time in Lucca. We would come back without hesitation. Casa Paolina made our stay in Lucca truly special. Thank you so much for everything ! we hope to be back very soon!

La habitación era enorme, muy nueva y limpia. Fue el hotel que más dudé en reservar durante este viaje, pero resultó ser el más sorprendente. Es perfecto para una familia, está a poca distancia a pie de las principales atracciones y hay un supermercado de tamaño mediano a unos 12 minutos. Se pueden comprar frutas y productos para el desayuno en el supermercado, y también hay una cocina en la habitación para preparar tus propias comidas. Excepto por el precio algo elevado durante las vacaciones del Día Nacional (casi 5000 yuanes por noche), en general fue estupendo.

Un anfitrión muy amable y acogedor, siempre disponible para responder cualquier pregunta. El alojamiento no está en el centro, así que es muy tranquilo. La habitación es amplia, con un balcón precioso, y el colchón y las almohadas son increíblemente cómodos. Hay café y agua gratis todo el día. Está a poca distancia a pie. Si tomas el tren ligero T1 desde la estación central, gira a la izquierda, sal de la estación y bájate en Status, a tres paradas. Está a un corto paseo. El desayuno es muy abundante. El aire acondicionado tiene un coste adicional de 10 euros, dependiendo del tiempo que haga al llegar. Creo que alojarse aquí es mucho mejor que en el centro. La parada de autobús de Mall Outlet Village está a solo 10 minutos a pie. Pasé tres días maravillosos en Florencia.

The hotel was Very clean and modern amid it is a restored old building. It is located on one-Çar-street alley just across the bridge. Bringing heavy luggage from the station to the hotel is very energy-draining so we end up call a taxi when back to the station and cost us about 35euro. The room are spacious, we are party of three and got a room with no view. During the Sunday night, we still can hear loud music from its neighbors (I think it’s a pub) until 11 o’clock. But never mind though we bring 3 years old that very sensitive to loud sound. We were dead tired already. There is a kichenette in the room but strangely not included in the cleaned facilities. We should living the kitchennete cleaned or it will be fined (I forgot, may be 50 or 100 euros). My biggest complain was the wifi. It didn’t worked at all. Saw the wifi router near to the eleveator was the old model (the newest one didn’t switched on), and I guess one floor one wifi router so in some rooms the signal was patchy. I found a spot that wifi worked, inside the toilet. But it was nice stay. Bed is clean, pillow is too hard.

Fue muy bueno. La ventaja es que hay un tranvía justo enfrente y está un poco alejado de las atracciones turísticas, por lo que el precio es económico. Había un gran supermercado justo al lado de la estación, por lo que era genial para ir de compras. La desventaja es que hay que tomar un tranvía durante unos 20 minutos para llegar a las atracciones turísticas, pero no fue un gran problema. Más bien, era agradable que estuviera tranquilo. La habitación era espaciosa y usé el champú que me reponían todos los días. Sin embargo, el proceso de check-in fue un poco engorroso. Me gustaría volver a utilizarlo la próxima vez que venga a Florencia.

La habitación es muy espaciosa y cuenta con una cocina completamente equipada. El baño dispone de gel de ducha y champú, pero no de zapatillas ni pasta de dientes. En general, todo está bastante bien, y el servicio de recepción también es bueno. Lo único es que el desayuno se sirve en la habitación y consiste únicamente en una taza de café y un cruasán 🥐. La ubicación es muy conveniente en cuanto a transporte, hay un tranvía cerca y se tarda solo unos minutos en tranvía hasta la estación de tren.

Good location, very close to the train station & Centro storico. Room size was very good, with a BALCONY! Even though privacy may be a bit compromised but can’t have everything. It had very good natural lighting. The bathroom was also big, bigger than most bathroom in Italian hotels. I could dance & turn around in the shower stall. Check in required a bit of tech-savviness & naturally the internet. Unlocking gate & room required the use of an internet browser/done on a smart phone. There’re plenty of food options around, a bar/cafe/gelateria right down the building. Coffee machine & drinking water available for the taking. There’s a big shared fridge and an in-room fridge. Internet was fast. Plenty of charging ports/power outlets, conveniently placed (including bedside). Maybe one small suggestion: perhaps there’d be a desk. The TV didn’t work but I wouldn’t watch anything in Italian. I could YouTube with the fast internet. Good toiletries & drinking water provided & refreshed daily (some hotels don’t do this). Highly recommended.
