HiSuite Rome has two kinds of accommodation: regular hotel rooms and two or three small two-bedroom apartments, each with separate entrance. As we are a family of five (two parents and three children aged 16, 7, and 1,5 years), we got an apartment. The apartments are located in a separate house just opposite to the hotel reception on a narrow and truly authentic street in the old center of Rome, in a few minutes' walk from Piazza Navona. Each apartment has an entrance door with a codelock, which opens into a living/dining room with a kitchenette complete with a fridge, a coffee machine, and a toaster. One of the two bedrooms is one level above, another is one level below, underground (and without natural light), all three levels being connected with staircases. From the photos in the hotel website it was not clear that the apartment is organized in as many as three levels (although the staircase was of course clearly visible), but this is a nice detail adding much to the cozy character of the space. Note however that living in this space involves using stairs a lot. Both bedrooms are equipped with shower and toilet, and there is one wardrobe with a small safe upstairs. The tasteful decoration of the apartment, as well as the hotel's lobby, deserves special mention, and every morning it was delightful to see the beautiful Baroque frames of windows just opposite to ours. The hotel is apparently owned by a family, and the owners were really friendly and thoutful. We kept contact via email and WhatsApp with Laura, Giulia, and Mike (Michele?), and this experience was pleasant and memorable. The hotel team helped us book comfortable and reasonably priced transfers from the Fiumicino airport and to the Termini train station, and both taxi drivers were punctual and dependable. We had an early inbound flight, and the hotel provided us with early check-in free of charge (without us asking for it). On the day of checkout our luggage was kept until the taxi arrived in the evening. The hotel also provides to its guests a memo with a useful selection of eating and cultural addresses, and Laura readily gave lots of practical advice regarding visiting the city's attractions. HiSuite Rome does not have breakfast room, but there is a cafe next door. We however did not use it, because it was nice to have our own breakfasts at our place. All in all, our experience with HiSuite Rome is perfect. They provide normal service that you expect from a hotel of this class, but do everything with much attention to detail, in a thoughtful, friendly and dependable manner that goes beyond what's expected. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wishing to explore Rome from a nice and historical location, and will check their website first should we be coming to Rome again.

Muy cerca de la Basílica de San Pedro, a poca distancia a pie. La distribución de la habitación es interesante. Sin embargo, el tipo de habitación en la que nos alojamos es más adecuado para jóvenes, no para personas mayores, ya que hay que subir escaleras. El baño es bastante básico, pero limpio. La habitación está limpia y cuenta con microondas y hervidor de agua. No hay televisión, zapatillas ni pañuelos de papel. El personal fue muy atento. Nuestra reserva incluía desayuno; nos ayudaron a prepararlo para llevar. El desayuno estaba delicioso.

La habitación está cerca de la estación de tren, con transporte conveniente. Las instalaciones generales son relativamente nuevas y el espacio, aunque no es grande, es suficiente para una persona. Sin embargo, hay tres problemas fatales: 1. No hay una señalización clara para la entrada principal del hotel, y la ubicación es muy enrevesada. Tienes que entrar por el restaurante de otra persona o subir unas escaleras muy difíciles. Hasta que me fui, no encontré una señal clara. 2. La recepción es solo una simple mesa de 1.2m; no dan ganas de contactarlos si tienes algún problema. 3. El agua caliente de la ducha no funcionaba correctamente después de las 10 de la noche, aunque sí por la mañana. Dada la situación 2, me quedé a regañadientes dos noches y no volvería a alojarme.

Este es el hotel tipo apartamento más acogedor en el que me he alojado. Los camareros de la recepción del hotel son muy amables. Nos brindan servicios con mucha paciencia en cada ocasión. Queríamos salir a comer mariscos por la noche y nos recomendaron restaurantes deliciosos. Tenían miedo de que no pudiéramos encontrarlo, así que el señor nos acompañó al restaurante para ayudarnos a reservar un asiento. Fue realmente súper entusiasta. Su servicio fue muy humano. El apartamento es muy seguro y debes pasar tu tarjeta para ingresar. La puerta está cerrada cuando no hay gente. El diseño del tipo de habitación es muy adecuado para viajes familiares. La higiene también es muy limpia. La ubicación es excelente. Está al lado del Castillo Sant'Angelo y de la Ciudad del Vaticano. Incluso hay una zona de espera para descansar, comer y ducharse en el piso del sótano. Nuestro vuelo se retrasó, así que descansamos cómodamente aquí en el aeropuerto. El desayuno también estuvo bueno. Me gusta la máquina de frutas y panqueques automática. Gracias de nuevo por ayudarme. El personal de recepción es realmente muy humano. ¡La habitación era bastante espaciosa! ¡Me sorprendió encontrar un balcón pequeño! No había zapatillas en la habitación. Lo malo fue que estaba un poco oscura en general. El servicio de limpieza es diario y el hotel tiene un alto nivel de seguridad. ¡Se necesita una tarjeta para entrar por la puerta principal después de las 23:00! ¡También hay una puerta independiente a la habitación que requiere tarjeta para entrar! ¡Doble seguridad! Nos asignaron tres habitaciones con una sola puerta principal. ¡Sin duda me alojaría aquí de nuevo la próxima vez que esté en Roma!

La habitación es grande y el sofá cama se puede extraer para hacerla más grande. El hotel también nos envió una botella de vino y galletas. Tiene de todo, excepto lavadora (hay una lavandería cerca para lavar la ropa). Se puede decir que hace que los huéspedes se sientan como en casa. La ubicación también es muy buena y sólo se necesitan unos 20 minutos para llegar a varias atracciones de la Roma Oriental. Gracias Vino e Oli.
