This apartment/hotel was faultless. The location is in the centre of Heraklion a stones throw from the bars and restaurants. Despite being central the hotel was very quiet at night. It is a new development, possibly less than a year old. Very clean and modern and everything works well. They email you codes to enter the hotel and your room, so no human interaction is required when you arrive. The apartments are stunning. There are two flat screen TVs and they have provided everything you may need for your stay. We didn’t use the kitchen but all the equipment was present had we chosen to. The bathroom was well appointed and had a spacious rain shower. Air conditioning in all rooms was very effective.

I had a pleasant 7 night stay here at this accommodation while in Heraklion, Crete. It belongs to the Lato Boutique, which is the main hotel. The Annex is right opposite and required card access to enter. Room was the Economy room (15 sq. metres), a little on the small side, but good enough for a solo traveller. The room was right next to the stairwell and the lift, so there were times I could hear people moving about, but at night it was very quiet, and there were no sleep disruptions. Bed was comfy, air-conditioning was also good. The shower was also good, with shampoo and soap provided, though I noticed it was running a little low towards the end of my stay (i.e., no refills were done). I also appreciated that a luggage rack was provided, along with two bottles of water on check-in day. Fridge was big enough to fit lots of mineral water bottles to keep them cold, which would be a great reprieve in the summer time. Room safe was incredibly huge as well, it can easily store laptops securely, if needed. The elevator door got stuck on the day of check-out, but still worked, so not too big of an issue there. Wi-Fi requires a special code that you can get from the reception. My first code strangely stopped working after two days, but was promptly rectified after I informed the reception of the issue. There were no other connectivity issues for me. The hotel location is pretty near to the Venetian Port, and the Rocca Fortress; it is also walking distance away from the main shopping street in Heraklion and lots of good eating places nearby. There are also supermarkets nearby to get water as well. It does get quiet at night, but I did not encounter any incidents that made me feel unsafe. My room came with buffet breakfast included, which is served in the main building. Breakfast starts service from 7 am onwards, and was generally quite crowded at the start. Depending on the crowd level, the staff will occasionally open up a new section of the dining area. Breakfast was generally good, there was a good spread of American breakfast items, to pastries, ham and cheese and even Greek yogurt with a lot of condiments. It varied a little bit from day-to-day, but was generally the same for the most part.

I was very pleased with my stay here for 6 nights. I arrived late at night so the hotel reception was a little tricky to find, and I was nervous since all the shops were closed and the streets were kind of empty but actually the neighborhood is entirely safe and right in the middle of all the action. I loved having everything right at my doorstep - restaurants, shopping, the old town center. The room was clean and actually much larger than I expected. Good wifi, powerful air conditioner, comfortable bed. Overall I had a great stay and highly recommend for anyone watching their budget but wanting to be in the heart of everything.

How lucky I was to have chosen Notus Hotel! Perfect central location in old Chania town and yet quiet and peaceful. All points of interest are within walking distance as are excellent restaurants and bars. The room is well equiped; A/C, comfortable large bed, fridge (which had water, a beer and small bottle of wine for free), kettle, coffee machine, plates and cutlery. The bathroom has a hair dryer, shampoo and soap. All is soptless! Loved the Saturday street market bemow my balcony! The owner, Manolis, is the perfect host! He is there to greet you in the morning and you can ask him about anything, always helpful and he gives great advice on where to go and what not to miss. And a big thank you to Monica, who is part of the cleaning staff, for he good mood and kind smile you offer every morning. If I come back to Chania, I’ll be back at Notus !

Sin duda puedo decir que han sido unas de las mejores vacaciones que he tenido, llenas de gente agradable y un clima griego estupendo. El hotel está situado en un lugar muy conveniente, cerca hay muchas tiendas y restaurantes. Lidl está a solo 5-7 minutos a pie. Al lado del hotel hay una cafetería estupenda. ¡Sigue adelante! Al lado del hotel hay una parada de autobús que te llevará al centro de la ciudad de Chania para dar un agradable paseo y disfrutar de una deliciosa cena. El hotel en sí es de estilo apartamento con una piscina increíble que siempre estaba bien cuidada y limpia. Todos los días las chicas se aseguraban de que nuestra habitación estuviera limpia y tuviéramos toallas nuevas, y hacían composiciones impresionantes con flores y toallas. El director del hotel era muy amable y siempre se ocupaba de forma eficiente de todas nuestras peticiones. El desayuno estaba delicioso y, en general, nuestra estancia fue muy agradable. Definitivamente, visita este hotel para sentir la increíble hospitalidad griega.

We had a lovely apartment, very spacious, with all the mod cons. Comfortable bed, air con, mini kitchen, terrace, Next decade bathroom - so many options for how you want your water to come out for shower. Short walk to Heaven Beach and restaurant/bar. Other restaurants/shops on main road. So wanted to give this a 5 but just felt a little let down by owner/manager who was not particularly helpful. We arrived late and asked about the closest restaurant and he said go back to main road but Heaven restaurant is like 50m away not towards main road. I saw their neon light and we went there, it was great for hungry/thirsty late arrivals.

Simply amazing decor to match the great history of Crete, particularly the Minoan civilization; clean spaces; and excellent communication for late arrival to the hotel. Perfectly located within walking distance to the Archaeological Museum, yummy seafood restaurants, the bus and taxi stations, if one wants to visit the birthplace of Zeus/cave or the famous monastery. The manager, his son, and Mary were very friendly and welcoming. It was wonderful to hear Mary’s historical knowledge of ancient Pharaonic and Hellas civilizations-- the bosom friends of the ancient Khmer civilization. Cheers!

This is a fantastic hotel tucked into what seems like a residential area. Easy walking to restaurants and only a 20 euro cab ride from the airport. These are like small apartments rather than a hotel room. There is a kitchen with a washing machine (this is huge when traveling with kids). Because it’s residential it’s quiet at night you can hear people in the halls but that wasn’t a problem. It has a small pool which is perfect to cool off in. The living room has spots for 2 people to sleep and the bedroom sleeps 2 people comfortably. I would definitely stay here again. I am not sure how far it is to the city center. We did 2 planned excursions and was only there for 3 days so I didn’t do everything.

Wonderful experience in the heart of Heraklion! The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, providing a sense of comfort and relaxation. L’appartement est très bien situé au centre d’Héraklion. Il est à 20 minutes d’auto à partir de l’aéroport. Sur la même rue, il y a un parking souterrain payant (12 euros) que nous avons utilisé à 5 occasions sans aucun problème. Il y a aussi une épicerie, des boulangeries, des restaurants et une multitude de commerces tout autour. Géographiquement, l’emplacement est idéal. Nous avons résidé à l’appartement 1 du 4e étage. Une chambre fermée, une salle de bains, un grand salon - cuisine. Le balcon est toutefois le point fort de cet appartement. Il est grand, et on y relaxe bien en fin de journée. Le matin, on vous laisse à déjeuner pour deux: céréales, lait, œufs, confitures, pain, etc. Cependant , l’appartement aurait besoin d’un peu plus d’équipement: micro-ondes, ciseaux, grille-pain, planche à repasser, commodes, cintres (il n’y en avait que 6)… Pour ce qui est de la salle de bains, elle est très petite et elle manque cruellement de tablettes pour s’organiser. Hormis cela, nous pouvons affirmer que l’appartement est parfait pour un court séjour de 2-3 nuits. Quand vous y restez pour plus d’une semaine, vous vous rendez compte, à ce moment, du manque d’équipement. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et font de leur mieux pour répondre à nos besoins.

Lindo, más lindo, más lindo. Elia es la más linda. Las sábanas eran cómodas, la cama rígida pero lujosa. Mi esposa disfrutó del balcón aunque la vista era un poco mediocre. Las galletas y los huevos frescos y gratuitos fueron un buen toque. El refrigerador hacía un ruido marrón pero, en realidad, al final del día, creo que nos ayudó a dormir mejor (a pesar de que tuvimos que despertarnos a las 4:30 am para tomar nuestro autobús local a Heraklion para tomar nuestro ferry azul de las 9 am, pero esto también se retrasó). Menos mal que nos acordamos de dejar las llaves en la habitación.
