The hotel is very good and located within the Twin Towers area. The sea view is excellent, and it has all the amenities. My room had a private bathroom, a comfortable bed, and cozy cushions near the window to enjoy the sea view. There is also a projector available for watching movies. The initial service was good, although later there were slight delays in responding. Check-in requires a face scan, while check-out is simple — you just need to send a message to your butler. It is better to book earlier to get a good deal.

El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no es un edificio completo. El hotel fue a la noche de DiDi y se congeló frío, con equipajes en mano, y llamó a la propiedad, sin embargo la persona no hablaba inglés. Después de utilizar la función de mensaje, la traducción puede ayudarnos a comunicar mejor, y la persona responsable vino fuera del edificio para recogerme y me ayudó con mis maletas. La habitación era espaciosa con vistas al mar a una distancia puede verse. Sólo se quedó 1 noche durante el tránsito, por lo que no puedo revisar más. En general, me quedaría aquí otra vez la próxima vez que tenga un tránsito en Fuzhou.

Reservamos el apartamento de 4 habitaciones. Si vienes por las vistas, no te decepcionarás. Por lo demás, el lugar es como un hostal: todo el edificio se usa para alquilar habitaciones, y las cafeterías y el spa están en el mismo edificio. Estábamos en la planta 53 y hay una cafetería a pocos apartamentos. Parece que pueden gestionar cualquier tipo de negocio a su antojo. La mayoría son jóvenes y el lugar está muy concurrido, supongo que es porque está al lado de la universidad. Te hacen registrarte para el check-in en una aplicación, pero la puerta y el sistema de acceso al ascensor están rotos. Veníamos del aparcamiento B1 y podemos subir en ascensor directamente a la habitación sin ningún control de seguridad. Me preocupaba la seguridad, pero parece que hay cámaras por todas partes. El apartamento fue decepcionante, ya que estaba viejo y deteriorado. La mesa de mahjong estaba rota, el sofá no es cómodo, la ducha tiene moho y si usas la ducha de lluvia, se inundará porque el desagüe no es eficiente. La cocina estaba equipada con horno, lavadora y campana extractora Miele, pero parece que no permiten usarla, ya que guardan sábanas y otros utensilios en todos los cajones y el horno. No hay utensilios de ningún tipo. Eso sí, usamos la nevera grande. Debo decir que la dueña/ama de llaves y el personal de limpieza son muy atentos a todas las peticiones. Mi aire acondicionado estaba roto y enviaron a alguien a arreglarlo a las 22:00, pero solo pudieron arreglarlo al día siguiente. Por suerte, tengo la habitación libre para dormir la primera noche. (El aire acondicionado también es ruidoso en la habitación pequeña, así que tuve que usar tapones para los oídos). La vista desde el apartamento es magnífica, y punto.

Perks: Near a big shopping centre, convenience stores galore, plenty of affordable places to eat, very close to the metro station, there is a gorgeous park 5~7 min walk from the flat. Many public bicycles to choose from (although with a foreign passport, only the blue bikes named Hello bike are available). The room is gorgeous, with half of the room fitted with windows. Being on the 17th floor, the scenery is gorgeous. You can see the beautiful mountains surrounding parts of the area. The flat is clean, with a kettle available, 2 free bottles of water, toilet paper, towels, free toiletry. There is a big fridge with freezer compartment in the kitchen. Comfortable bed. There is a big wardrobe with plenty of hangers. Free washing machine is a PLUS! Downsides: Being on the 17th floor, it takes ages to go up and down..You have to queue to access the lifts. The flat is noisy (the rain in itself, when touching the windows), the neighbours (I don't think the neighbours were particularly noisy, just the building having thin walls and ceilings/floors): You can hear the kid upstairs running, the next door neighbour singing etc. There is also a machine (couldn't figure out what it was) right next to the washing machine, it makes a loud noise 24/7, like a boiler.

Reception staff Abby Wu and Richard Nian were very friendly, helpful, and provided top-notch service with a smile. Ms Abby Wu even “upgraded” our booking to that with breakfast for 5 instead of for 3 and for that, we are grateful. The level of service provided really stood out and left a very good first impression. The concierge was also super helpful assisting with our luggage bags and readily provided us with detailed directions to the places that we wanted to visit . Great Location, next to the metro station (Lindou station) Entrance 3 and right opposite the hotel is the Bao Lung ONE Mall where there are plenty of eateries and restaurants as well as fast food stores. The 3-bedroom deluxe room that we booked was awesome, spacious, well-appointed with comfy beds and clean pillows, kitchenette with pots, plates, utensils and cutlery as well as microwave oven and there’s even a washer and dryer provided (did not have the chance to use as we only stayed for one night). Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Somerset Software Park Xiamen and we highly recommend this hotel for your next holiday in Xiamen.

La habitación era espaciosa y tenía unas vistas estupendas. La recepción respondió rápidamente a todas mis preguntas y el servicio fue excelente. Ubicado dentro de Vanke Plaza, hay numerosos restaurantes y tiendas de conveniencia en la planta baja. La estación de Xiamen Norte está a solo 600 metros a pie, lo que facilita el viaje. El hotel también contaba con nevera y lavadora, ideal para viajeros de larga distancia. El único problema fue que el grifo era de mala calidad y se tambaleaba, lo que lo hacía un poco molesto. En general, fue una buena elección y sin duda me alojaría aquí de nuevo la próxima vez que esté en Xiamen.

This is the landmark of the Xiamen city. View is superb and neighbourhood is nice with Lot of young people. I booked High Rise apartment but for some reason I got apartment in lover possible level. It’s more than 50 floor high building but I got room in 18th floor. As well room size was Not like described. I asked non smoking room but got room with smoke smell and ashtray was included. Bed was hard like stone and cinema asked for administrator. Check in needed calling for landlord and without any Chinese skills it may be difficult. As well landlord asked us to register ourselves thru app and it was as well only Chinese. Not easy for foreigners. After my complaint landlord gave another apartment what was in 50th floor and bed was much more softer. Thank you for that. Strange was that normal towels were not included. Instead of normal towels there were some strange disposable towel. Building himself is almost new but some mouldering is visible and that is not nice. As well the windows were a bit dirty.
